A recyclable Stand Up Pouch (SUP) is prepared using a polyethylene structure having a first web and a second web. Each of the first web and second web contains at least one layer of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) to provide stiffness. The outer web also contains a layer of lower density polyethylene for improved optical properties. The laminated structure is printed on one of the layers that form the interface between the two webs to protect the printing. This SUP design is suitable for preparing packages of a wide variety of flowable foods (including liquids and solids).

What is claimed is: 1 . A laminated structure that is made from polymeric material; said laminated structure comprising A) an outer web comprising A.1) a first-A layer comprising an HDPE composition and, A.2) a second-A layer comprising polyethylene selected from LLDPE, MDPE and HDPE; B) an inner web comprising B.1) a first-B layer that is in contact with said outer web, wherein said first-B layer comprises polyethylene selected from LLDPE and MDPE; B.2) a second-B layer comprising an HDPE composition; and B.3) a third-B layer comprising a sealant composition, with the proviso that I) said outer web is laminated to said inner web; II) said laminated structure is printed at the interface between said outer layer and said inner layer; and III) said HDPE, MDPE, LLDPE and sealant polyethylene collectively form at least 95 weight % of said polymeric material that is used to prepare said laminated structure. 2 . The structure of claim 1 wherein said first A-layer comprises an HDPE composition containing a nucleating agent. 3 . The structure of claim 1 wherein said outer web is subjected to a Machine Direction Orientation with a draw down ratio of from 2:1 to 10:1. 4 . The structure of claim 2 wherein said outer web is subjected to a Machine Direction Orientation of form 2:1 to 10:1. 5 . The structure of claim 1 wherein said second-B layer comprises an HDPE composition containing a nucleating agent. 6 . The structure of claim 1 wherein said inner web further comprises a barrier layer, whenever said barrier layer is located between said first-B layer and said second-B layer. 7 . The structure of claim 6 wherein said barrier layer comprises EVOH, with the further proviso that the total weight of said barrier layer is less than 5 weight %, based on the combined weight of said EVOH and the total weight of polyethylene used in said structure. 8 . The structure of claim 7 wherein two tie layers are included, such that a first tie layer is located on one side of said barrier layer and a second tie layer is located on the other side of said barrier layer. 9 . A stand up pouch that is prepared from the structure of claim 1 . 10 . A stand up pouch that is prepared from the structure of claim 2 . 11 . A stand up pouch that is prepared from the structure of claim 3 . 12 . A stand up pouch that is prepared from the structure of claim 4 . 13 . A stand up pouch that is prepared from the structure of claim 5 . 14 . A stand up pouch that is prepared from the structure of claim 6 .
