What is claimed is: 1 . An ink comprising: a pigment; a wax; a water soluble solvent including a solvent having an SP value of from 9.0 to 11.0; and water, wherein a mass ratio of a content of the wax in the ink to a content of the solvent having an SP value of from 9.0 to 11.0 is in a range of from 1.0:2.5 to 1.0:25.0. 2 . The ink according to claim 1 , wherein a ratio of the solvent having an SP value of from 9.0 to 11.0 to a total content of the water soluble solvent in the ink is 80 percent by mass or greater. 3 . The ink according to claim 1 , wherein the solvent having an SP value of from 9.0 to 11.0 includes at least one member selected from the group consisting of isopropylidene glycerol, 3-ethyl-3-hydroxymethyloxetane, and N,N-dimethyl-β-butoxypropionamide. 4 . The ink according to claim 1 , further comprising a copolymer having a structure unit represented by the following Chemical formula I and a structure unit represented by the following Chemical formula II. where R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, X represents a hydrogen atom or a cation, and L represents an alkylene group having 2 to 18 carbon atoms. 5 . The ink according to claim 4 , wherein a molar ratio of the structure unit represented by Chemical formula I to the structure unit represented by Chemical formula II is from 0.5:1.0 to 3.0:1.0. 6 . The ink according to claim 1 , further comprising a copolymer having a neutralized phosphoric acid group or a neutralized bisphosphonic acid group. 7 . The ink according to claim 1 , wherein a surface of the pigment is chemically modified by a neutralized phosphoric acid group or a neutralized bisphosphonic acid group. 8 . The ink according to claim 4 , wherein the pigment is dispersed in the ink by a copolymer having a neutralized phosphoric acid group or a neutralized bisphosphonic acid group or a copolymer having a structure unit represented by Chemical formula I and a structure unit represented by Chemical formula II. 9 . The ink according to claim 1 , wherein the wax includes a polyethylene wax having a melting point of from 100 degrees C. to 140 degrees C. 10 . The ink according to claim 1 , wherein the wax includes a polyethylene wax having a volume average particle diameter of from 20 nm to 150 nm. 11 . The ink according to claim 1 , further comprising at least one of a compound represented by the following Chemical formula 1 or a compound represented by the following Chemical formula 2, where a represents a numeral in a range of from 8 to 9, where a represents a numeral in a range of from 8 to 9. 12 . An ink container comprising: an ink containing unit; and the ink of claim 1 contained in the ink containing unit. 13 . An inkjet recording device comprising: an ink container that contains the ink of claim 1 ; and a recording head to discharge the ink supplied from the ink container. 14 . Recorded matter comprising: a recording medium; and an image formed on the recording medium using the ink of claim 1 .
