The present invention relates to a method for processing notification messages in a machine-to-machine (M2M) system and devices for same, the method comprising the steps of: processing by an M2M device one or more notification messages; and transmitting the processed notification message(s), wherein: the one or more notification messages are generated as an originator device detects a change in the resources to subscribe to comprising, as a child resource, a subscription resource configured in the originator device; the one or more notification messages comprise implementation information configured based on the policy information configured in the originator device for the processing of the one or more notification messages; the one or more notification messages are processed based on the implementation information; the one or more processed notification messages are transmitted comprising the implementation information; and the subscription resource and the resources to subscribe to exhibit a data structure uniquely addressable by using a unique address.

1 . A method for processing a notification message by a machine-to-machine (M2M) device, the method comprising: processing at least one notification message by the M2M device; and transmitting the processed notification message, wherein: the at least one notification message is generated by an originator device detecting a change in a subscribed-to resource comprising a subscription resource configured in the originator device as a child resource; the at least one notification message comprises enforcement information configured based on policy information configured in the originator device in order to process the at least one notification message; the at least one notification message is processed based on the enforcement information; the processed notification message is transmitted with including the enforcement information; and the subscription resource and the subscribed-to resource indicate a uniquely addressable data structure using a unique address. 2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the processing of the received notification message comprises: discarding the notification message when the enforcement information has a first value; storing the received notification message and discarding a previously stored notification message when the enforcement information has a second value; and storing all the received notification message when the enforcement information has a third value. 3 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein: the notification message further comprises address information of the subscription resource; and the processing comprises processing notification messages with the same address information among the at least one notification message according to the enforcement information. 4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the enforcement information is configured to have a value corresponding to a value of the policy information. 5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the enforcement information comprises address information indicating the policy information. 6 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the enforcement information is included in information indicating an event category within the notification message. 7 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the M2M device is the same as the originator device. 8 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the M2M device is a transit device that is not the originator device and a device receiving the transmitted notification message. 9 . A machine-to-machine (M2M) device comprising: a network interface unit; and a processor operatively connected to the network interface unit, wherein: the processor is configured to process at least one notification message and to transmit the processed notification message; the at least one notification message is generated by an originator device detecting a change in a subscribed-to resource comprising a subscription resource configured in the originator device as a child resource; the at least one notification message comprises enforcement information configured based on policy information configured in the originator device in order to process the at least one notification message; and the at least one notification message is processed based on the enforcement information; the processed notification message is transmitted with including the enforcement information; and the subscription resource and the subscribed-to resource indicate a uniquely addressable data structure using a unique address. 10 . The M2M device of claim 9 , wherein the processing of the received notification message comprises: discarding the notification message when the enforcement information has a first value; storing the received notification message and discarding a previously stored notification message when the enforcement information has a second value; and storing all the received notification message when the enforcement information has a third value. 11 . The M2M device of claim 9 , wherein: the notification message further comprises address information of the subscription resource; and the processing comprises processing notification messages with the same address information among the at least one notification message according to the enforcement information. 12 . The M2M device of claim 9 , wherein the enforcement information is configured to have a value corresponding to a value of the policy information. 13 . The M2M device of claim 9 , wherein the enforcement information comprises address information indicating the policy information. 14 . The M2M device of claim 9 , wherein the enforcement information is included in information indicating an event category within the notification message. 15 . The M2M device of claim 9 , wherein the M2M device is a transit device that is not the originator device and a device receiving the transmitted notification message.
