Features pertain to determining, at a client device, to send a query to a network access node. The query may be associated with a plurality of serving networks, each serving network identified with a serving network identifier. A first serving network identifier may be selected to associate with the query. The query may be sent to the network access node. The query may include the first serving network identifier, and in some aspects, a second serving network identifier. Additional features pertain to receiving, at a network node, a query including a first serving network identifier. The network node may be associated with a plurality of serving networks. A first server to which to forward the query may be determined at the network node. The first serving network identifier identifies the first server. The query may be sent to the first server.

What is claimed is: 1 . A method, operational at a client device, comprising: determining, at the client device, to send a query to a network access node, wherein the network access node is associated with a plurality of serving networks, each serving network identified with a serving network identifier; selecting a first serving network identifier to associate with the query; and sending the query to the network access node, wherein the query includes the first serving network identifier. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the query further includes an element of information, the element of information describing one or more network capabilities supported by a network associated with a first serving network identifier. 3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first serving network identifier is a service set identifier (SSID) identifier, a public land mobile network identifier (PLMN ID) identifier, a service provider identifier (SPI) identifier, or a network access identifier (NAI) realm identifier. 4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: obtaining, at the client device, prior to determining the first serving network identifier, serving network identifiers of each of the plurality of serving networks associated with the network access node. 5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the serving network identifiers are obtained from a broadcast message from the network access node or from a unicast message from the network access node. 6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein selecting the first serving network identifier is based on whether a preexisting relationship is established between the client device and a serving network identified by the first serving network identifier. 7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the preexisting relationship is established when the client device has a subscription with the serving network identified by the first serving network identifier and/or when the first serving network identifier is included on a preexisting list of preferred serving networks configured in the client device. 8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: selecting a second serving network identifier to associate with the query prior to sending the query, wherein the second serving network identifier is different from the first serving network identifier; and sending the query to the network access node, wherein the query includes the first serving network identifier and the second serving network identifier. 9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the first serving network identifier and second serving network identifier identify different servers. 10 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the first serving network identifier and second serving network identifier are different types of serving network identifiers. 11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the different types of serving network identifiers include a service set identifier (SSID) type identifier, a public land mobile network identifier (PLMN ID) type identifier, a service provider identifier (SPI) type identifier, and a network access identifier (NAI) realm type identifier. 12 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: selecting a second serving network identifier to associate with the query prior to sending the query, wherein the first serving network identifier represents a public serving network and the second serving network identifier represents a private serving network; and sending the query to the network access node, wherein the query includes the first serving network identifier and the second serving network identifier. 13 . A client device, comprising: a network interface; and a processing circuit coupled to the network interface, the processing circuit configured to: determine to send a query to a network access node, wherein the network access node is associated with a plurality of serving networks, each serving network identified with a serving network identifier; select a first serving network identifier to associate with the query; and send the query to the network access node, wherein the query includes the first serving network identifier. 14 . The client device of claim 13 , wherein the processing circuit is further configured to derive the query to include an element of information, the element of information describing one or more network capabilities supported by a network associated with a first serving network identifier. 15 . The client device of claim 13 , wherein the processing circuit is further configured to obtain serving network identifiers of each of the plurality of serving networks associated with the network access node from a broadcast message from the network access node or from a unicast message from the network access node. 16 . The client device of claim 13 , wherein the processing circuit is further configured to select the first serving network identifier based on whether a preexisting relationship is established between the client device and a serving network identified by the first serving network identifier. 17 . A method operational at a network node, comprising: receiving, at the network node, a query including a first serving network identifier, wherein the network node is associated with a plurality of serving networks, each serving network identified with a serving network identifier; determining an identity of a first server to which to forward the query, wherein the first serving network identifier provides the identity of the first server; and sending the query to the first server. 18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the network node is a network access node and/or a mobility management entity (MME). 19 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the query includes an element of information, the element of information describing one or more network capabilities supported by a network associated with a first serving network identifier. 20 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the query comprises a non-access stratum (NAS) message, and/or a radio resource control (RRC) message. 21 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the first serving network identifier identifies a server of a first serving network in the plurality of serving networks. 22 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the query further includes a second serving network identifier that is different from the first serving network identifier. 23 . The method of claim 22 , wherein the second serving network identifier identifies a server of a second serving network in the plurality of serving networks. 24 . The method of claim 22 , further comprising: determining a second server to which to forward the query, wherein the second serving network identifier identifies a second server of a second serving network in the plurality of serving networks; and sending the query to the second server. 25 . The method of claim 22 , wherein the first serving network identifier and second serving network identifier are different types of serving network identifiers. 26 . The method of claim 25 , wherein the different types of serving network identifiers include a service set identifier (SSID) type identifier, a public land mobile network identifier (PLMN ID) type identifier, a service provider identifier (SPI) type identifier, and a network access identifier (NAI) realm type identifier. 27 . The method of claim 22 , wherein the first serving network identifier identif
