Provided is a method for efficiently producing a carbon nanotube dispersion liquid in which less-damaged carbon nanotubes are highly dispersed. The method for producing a carbon nanotube dispersion liquid includes: (A) obtaining a carbon nanotube dispersion liquid by applying a shear force to a coarse dispersion liquid that includes carbon nanotubes having a specific surface area of 600 m 2 /g or more to whereby disperse the carbon nanotubes, wherein the step (A) includes at least one of applying a back pressure to the carbon nanotube dispersion liquid and cooling the carbon nanotube dispersion liquid.

1 . A method for producing a carbon nanotube dispersion liquid, comprising: (A) obtaining a carbon nanotube dispersion liquid by applying a shear force to a coarse dispersion liquid that includes carbon nanotubes having a specific surface area of 600 m 2 /g or more to whereby disperse the carbon nanotubes, wherein the step (A) includes at least one of applying a back pressure to the carbon nanotube dispersion liquid and cooling the carbon nanotube dispersion liquid. 2 . The method for producing a carbon nanotube dispersion liquid according to claim 1 , further comprising: (B) reducing multi-stepwise the back pressure applied to the carbon nanotube dispersion liquid obtained by the step (A). 3 . A method for producing a composite material composition comprising: (X) mixing together the carbon nanotube dispersion liquid obtained by the method for producing a carbon nanotube dispersion liquid according to claim 1 and a polymer material-containing liquid. 4 . A method for producing a composite material comprising: (Y) solidifying the composite material composition obtained by the method for producing a composite material composition according to claim 3 . 5 . A composite material obtained by the method for producing a composite material according to claim 4 . 6 . A composite-material shaped product obtained by shaping the composite material according to claim 5 . 7 . A method for producing a composite material composition comprising: (X) mixing together the carbon nanotube dispersion liquid obtained by the method for producing a carbon nanotube dispersion liquid according to claim 2 and a polymer material-containing liquid. 8 . A method for producing a composite material comprising: (Y) solidifying the composite material composition obtained by the method for producing a composite material composition according to claim 7 . 9 . A composite material obtained by the method for producing a composite material according to claim 8 . 10 .
