According to an embodiment, a lens device includes a filter, an entire area of which transmits light of a common color. The filter includes a first filter region and a second filter region. The first filter region transmits light that is a first combination of colors out of colors of light to be received by an image sensor. The second filter region transmits light that is a second combination of colors of the colors of the light to be received by the image sensor. The first and second combinations of colors each include the common color.

What is claimed is: 1 . A lens device comprising: a filter, an entire area of which transmits light of a common color, including a first filter region to transmit light that is a first combination of colors out of colors of light to be received by an image sensor; and a second filter region to transmit light that is a second combination of colors of the colors of the light to be received by the image sensor, the second combination of colors being different from the first combination of colors, wherein the first and second combinations of colors each include the common color. 2 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the filter further includes a third filter region to transmit light of the common color. 3 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the filter further includes a fourth filter region to transmit all colors of light to be received by the image sensor. 4 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the first combination of colors has two colors out of red, green, and blue, the second combination of colors has two colors out of red, green, and blue, the two colors being different from the first combination of colors, and the common color is one of red, green, and blue, included in both the first and second combinations of colors. 5 . The device according to claim 4 , wherein a combination of the first and second filter regions is a combination of a yellow filter transmitting red light and green light and a cyan filter transmitting green light and blue light, a combination of the cyan filter and a magenta filter transmitting red light and blue light, or a combination of the magenta filter and the yellow filter. 6 . The device according to claim 2 , wherein the third filter region is one of a red filter a green filter, or a blue filter. 7 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the filter further includes an additional filter region selected from a red filter, a green filter, a blue filter, a yellow filter transmitting red light and green light, a cyan filter transmitting green light and blue light, a magenta filter transmitting red light and blue light, and a transparent filter. 8 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein an entire area of the filter includes a plurality of filter regions not overlapping with each other. 9 . An image capturing device comprising: the device according to claim 1 ; an image sensor to receive light that has passed through the filter. 10 . The device according to claim 9 , further comprising: a depth calculator to calculate a depth to a subject based on a captured image acquired by the image sensor and generate an image with distance information in accordance with the calculated depth; and an image generator to generate a display image based on the captured image and the image with distance information. 11 . The device according to claim 9 , further comprising a lens disposed between the image sensor and the filter. 12 . The device according to claim 9 , further comprising a lens, wherein the filter is disposed between the image sensor and the lens.
