A method of operating an electronic device and an electronic device thereof are provided. The method includes determining a predetermined discovery window from a plurality of discovery windows; and transmitting a discovery frame to at least one other electronic device in the predetermined discovery window. The electronic device includes a processor configured to determine a predetermined discovery window from among a plurality of discovery windows; and a communication module configured to transmit a discovery frame to at least one other electronic device in the predetermined discovery window.

What is claimed is: 1 . A method of operating an electronic device, the method comprising: determining a predetermined discovery window from a plurality of discovery windows; and transmitting a discovery frame to at least one other electronic device in the predetermined discovery window. 2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: receiving a discovery frame from the at least one other electronic device in the predetermined discovery window. 3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the predetermined discovery window comprises at least one window from the plurality of discovery windows except one window from the plurality of discovery windows for synchronization. 4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising activating the electronic device in the predetermined discovery window, and wherein the discovery frame comprises indication information for indicating the predetermined discovery window. 5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the indication information has a bitmap structure which indicates the predetermined discovery window from among the plurality of discovery windows. 6 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the discovery frame comprises a Neighboring Awareness Networking (NAN) service discovery frame, and wherein the indication information is comprised in any one area of an attributes field of the NAN service discovery frame among a reserved area, a vendor specific attribute area, and a service descriptor attribute area. 7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the service descriptor attribute area comprises: a service IDentifier (ID) field for identifying information regarding the predetermined discovery window; and a service information field for the information regarding the predetermined discovery window. 8 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising: changing the predetermined discovery window. 9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein changing the predetermined discovery window comprises changing the predetermined discovery window based on at least one of a power state and an operation state of the electronic device. 10 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising: transmitting information regarding the changed predetermined discovery window to the at least one other electronic device in the changed predetermined discovery window. 11 . An electronic device comprising: a processor configured to determine a predetermined discovery window from among a plurality of discovery windows; and a communication module configured to transmit a discovery frame to at least one other electronic device in the predetermined discovery window. 12 . The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the communication module is further configured to receive a discovery frame from the at least one other electronic device in the predetermined discovery window. 13 . The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the predetermined discovery window comprises at least one window from the plurality of discovery windows except one window from the plurality of discovery windows for synchronization. 14 . The electronic device of claim 13 , wherein the processor is further configured to activate the electronic device in the predetermined discovery window and wherein the discovery frame comprises indication information for indicating the predetermined discovery window. 15 . The electronic device of claim 14 , wherein the indication information has a bitmap structure which indicates the predetermined discovery window from among the plurality of discovery windows. 16 . The electronic device of claim 14 , wherein the discovery frame comprises a Neighboring Awareness Networking (NAN) service discovery frame, and wherein the indication information is comprised in any one area of an attributes field of the NAN service discovery frame among a reserved area, a vendor specific attribute area, and a service descriptor attribute area. 17 . The electronic device of claim 16 , wherein the service descriptor attribute area comprises: a service IDentifier (ID) field for identifying information regarding the predetermined discovery window; and a service information field for the information regarding the predetermined discovery window. 18 . The electronic device of claim 13 , wherein the processor is further configured to change the predetermined discovery window. 19 . The electronic device of claim 18 , wherein the processor is further configured to change the predetermined discovery window based on the basis of at least one of a power state and an operation state of the electronic device. 20 . The electronic device of claim 18 , wherein the communication module is further configured to transmit information regarding the changed predetermined discovery window to the different electronic device in the changed predetermined discovery window.
