Content creation and deployment collaboration techniques are described. In one or more implementations, metadata that describes the creation of the content may be associated with the content. The content may then be provided from a content creation service to a content deployment service for deployment as part of a marketing activity. Deployment data obtained from this tracking may be utilized to support a variety of functionality, such as by content creators to determine which of their content has been successfully employed as part of marketing activities, marketers may also use knowledge of the deployment of the content to choose content to be included in a marketing activity as well as select content creators that are best suited to provide this content, used to configure badges, by retailers and manufacturers, and so forth.

What is claimed is: 1 . In a digital medium environment for creating a marketing activity, where the marketing activity involves creation of content as part of the marketing activity, a system to create the content comprising one or more modules implemented at least partially in hardware, the one or more modules configured to perform operations comprising: receiving one or more inputs describing characteristics of the marketing activity and the content to be included as part of the marketing activity; locating metadata that describes creation of content that corresponds to the described characteristics of the content and the marketing activity; finding one or more content creators that have created content corresponding to the located metadata; and causing output of identifiers of the found one or more content creators for inclusion in a user interface. 2 . A system as described in claim 1 , wherein the one or more inputs reference examples of the content to be included as part of the marketing activity. 3 . A system as described in claim 1 , wherein the one or more inputs include textual descriptions that describe the characteristics of the marketing activity and the content. 4 . A system as described in claim 1 , wherein the metadata describes characteristics of a device used to create the content. 5 . A system as described in claim 3 , wherein the characteristics include device type, flash usage, focal length, aperture value, exposure time, zoom level, digital versus analog zoom, lens type, device identifier. 6 . A system as described in claim 1 , wherein the metadata also describes characteristics of the content. 7 . A system as described in claim 6 , wherein described characteristics of the content include identification of one or more objects in the content or scene classification. 8 . A system as described in claim 1 , wherein the metadata also describes environmental conditions of a scene in which the content is captured, the environmental conditions including a scene classification, lighting conditions, or whether the environment is likely indoors or outdoors. 9 . A system as described in claim 1 , wherein the metadata describes processing performed to edit the content as part of creation of the content. 10 . A system as described in claim 9 , wherein the metadata describes one or more image processing operations applied to the content or identifies one or more applications used to perform the processing. 11 . In a digital medium environment for creating a marketing activity, where the marketing activity involves creation of content as part of the marketing activity, a method comprising: receiving one or more inputs, at one or more computing devices, describing characteristics of the marketing activity and content to be included as part of the marketing activity; locating metadata, by the one or more computing devices, that describes creation of content that corresponds to the described characteristics of the content and the marketing activity; finding one or more items of content having the located metadata by the one or more computing devices; and causing output of the found one or more items of content for output in a user interface by the one or more computing devices. 12 . A method as described in claim 11 , wherein the one or more inputs reference examples of the content to be included as part of the marketing activity or include textual descriptions that describe the characteristics of the marketing activity and the content. 13 . A method as described in claim 11 , wherein the metadata describes characteristics of a device used to create the content. 14 . A method as described in claim 11 , wherein the metadata also describes characteristics of the content that include identification of one or more objects in the content or scene classification. 15 . A method as described in claim 11 , wherein the metadata describes processing performed to edit the content as part of creation of the content. 16 . A method as described in claim 15 , wherein the metadata describes one or more image processing operations applied to the content or identifies one or more applications used to perform the processing. 17 . In a digital medium environment for creating a marketing activity, where the marketing activity involves creation of content as part of the marketing activity, a system to generate suggestions to create the content comprising one or more modules implemented at least partially in hardware, the one or more modules configured to perform operations comprising: receiving one or more inputs describing characteristics of a marketing activity and content to be included as part of the marketing activity; locating metadata that describes creation of content that corresponds to the described characteristics of the content and the marketing activity, the locating based at least in part on tracked deployment of the created content as part of respective ones of a plurality of other marketing activities; generating one or more suggestions describing characteristics of the content for inclusion as part of the marketing activity based on the located metadata; and exposing an offer for output in a user interface for viewing by one or more content creators, the offer indicating the content to be included as part of the marketing activity and including the generated one or more suggestions. 18 . A system as described in claim 17 , wherein the one or more inputs reference examples of the content to be included as part of the marketing activity or include textual descriptions that describe the characteristics of the marketing activity and the content. 19 . A system as described in claim 17 , wherein the metadata describes characteristics of a device used to create the content. 20 . A system as described in claim 17 , wherein the metadata describes processing performed to edit the content as part of creation of the content including one or more image processing operations applied to the content or identifies one or more applications used to perform the processing.
