The present invention aims to provide a composition having excellent hydrophilicity, water permeability, mechanical strength, chemical durability, and low-fouling property, and capable of producing a porous polymer membrane from which a hydrophilic agent is less likely to be eluted. The composition of the present invention includes a vinylidene fluoride resin and a copolymer (A) including a vinyl alcohol unit and a fluoromonomer unit.

1 . A composition comprising a vinylidene fluoride resin, and a copolymer (A) including a vinyl alcohol unit and a fluoromonomer unit, wherein a ratio by mass between the vinylidene fluoride resin and the copolymer (A) is 70/30 to 99/1. 2 . The composition according to claim 1 , wherein the copolymer (A) satisfies a ratio by mole between the vinyl alcohol unit and the fluoromonomer unit (vinyl alcohol unit/fluoromonomer unit) of 25 to 75/75 to 25. 3 . (canceled) 4 . A porous polymer membrane comprising the composition according to claim 1 . 5 . The porous polymer membrane according to claim 4 , which is produced by nonsolvent-induced phase separation, thermally induced phase separation, or combination of both. 6 . The porous polymer membrane according to claim 4 , which is a flat membrane or a hollow fiber membrane. 7 . The porous polymer membrane according to claim 4 , which is intended to be used in water treatment. 8 . A hydrophilic agent for a porous membrane that is formed from a vinylidene fluoride resin, the hydrophilic agent comprising: a copolymer (A) including a vinyl alcohol unit and a fluoromonomer unit, wherein the porous membrane comprises a composition, the composition comprises the vinylidene fluoride resin and the copolymer (A), a ratio by mass between the vinylidene fluoride resin and the copolymer (A) is 70/30 to 99/1.
