A patterned apertured web comprises a plurality of land areas and a plurality of apertures. At least some of the land areas surround at least some of the apertures. The patterned apertured web has an Effective Open Area in the range of about 5% to about 50%, according to the Aperture Test herein. The patterned apertured web has a plurality of Interaperture Distances, according to the Aperture Test herein. The Interaperture Distances have a distribution having a median and a mean, wherein the mean is greater than the median.

What is claimed is: 1 . A patterned apertured web comprising: a plurality of land areas in the patterned apertured web; and a plurality of apertures defined in the patterned apertured web, wherein at least some of the land areas surround at least some of the apertures; wherein the patterned apertured web has an Effective Open Area in the range of about 5% to about 50%, according to the Aperture Test herein; and wherein the patterned apertured web has a plurality of Interaperture Distances, according to the Aperture Test herein, wherein the Interaperture Distances have a distribution having a median and a mean, and wherein the mean is greater than the median. 2 . The patterned apertured web of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of apertures have an Average Absolute Feret Angle of at least about 20 degrees, according to the Aperture Test herein. 3 . The patterned apertured web of claim 1 , wherein the difference between the mean and the median is at least about 4% and less than about 25%. 4 . The patterned apertured web of claim 1 , wherein at least some of the plurality of apertures have an Aspect Ratio greater than about 2, according to the Aperture Test herein. 5 . The patterned apertured web of claim 1 , wherein at least some of the plurality of apertures have a melt-fused portion around a perimeter of the aperture. 6 . A patterned apertured web comprising: a plurality of land areas in the patterned apertured web, wherein at least some of the land areas have a width of at least 5 mm; and a plurality of apertures defined in the patterned apertured web, wherein at least some of the land areas surround at least some of the plurality of apertures; wherein the plurality of apertures are non-homogeneous in a repeat unit such that at least three of the apertures have a different size, a different shape, or a different Absolute Feret Angle, according to the Aperture Test herein; wherein the plurality of the apertures have an Effective Aperture Area in a range of about 0.3 mm 2 to about 15 mm 2 , according to the Aperture Test herein; and wherein the patterned apertured web has an Effective Open Area in a range of about 5% to about 50%, according to the Aperture Test herein. 7 . The patterned apertured web of claim 6 , wherein the width of the at least some of the land areas is at least about 10 mm. 8 . The patterned apertured web of claim 6 , wherein at least five of the apertures have a different size, a different shape, and a different Absolute Feret Angle, according to the Aperture Test herein. 9 . The patterned apertured web of claim 6 , wherein the patterned apertured web comprises two or more layers. 10 . The patterned apertured web of claim 9 , wherein each of the two or more layers comprises a nonwoven material. 11 . The patterned apertured web of claim 9 , wherein a first layer comprises a nonwoven material, and wherein a second layer comprises a different material. 12 . The patterned apertured web of claim 9 , wherein a first layer has a different opacity than a second layer. 13 . The patterned apertured web of claim 9 , wherein a first layer has a different color than a second layer. 14 . The patterned apertured web of claim 13 , wherein a patterned adhesive or a printed ink is positioned on the first layer or the second layer, and wherein the patterned adhesive or the printed ink has a color that is different than a color of the first layer or the second layer. 15 . The patterned apertured web of claim 13 , wherein one of the layers comprises indicia, and wherein the indicia is a different color than the first layer or the second layer. 16 . The patterned apertured web of claim 9 , wherein the plurality of the apertures are formed in only one of the layers. 17 . An absorbent article comprising the patterned apertured web of claim 6 . 18 . The absorbent article of claim 17 , wherein the patterned apertured web comprises a portion of a topsheet, a portion of a waist region, a portion of a hip region, a portion of an acquisition layer, or a portion of a garment-facing surface. 19 . The absorbent article of claim 17 , wherein the patterned apertured web comprises a portion of an outer cover and a portion of a backsheet film. 20 . The absorbent article of claim 17 , wherein a first component of the absorbent article comprises the patterned apertured web, and wherein a second, different component of the absorbent article comprises the patterned apertured web. 21 . The absorbent article of claim 17 , wherein a first component of the absorbent article comprises the patterned apertured web, and wherein a second, different component of the absorbent article comprises indicia that is substantially similar to an appearance of the patterned apertured web. 22 . The absorbent article of claim 17 , wherein the patterned apertured web indicates the correct orientation of the absorbent article on a wearer. 23 . An absorbent article comprising the patterned apertured web of claim 6 , wherein the patterned apertured web is embossed to an acquisition material, or wherein the patterned apertured web is embossed to an acquisition material and to a distribution material. 24 . A patterned apertured web comprising: a plurality of land areas in the patterned apertured web; and a plurality of apertures defined in the patterned apertured web, wherein at least some of land areas surround at least some of the apertures; wherein the plurality of apertures are non-homogeneous in a repeat unit such that at least three of the apertures have a different size or a different shape; and wherein the patterned apertured web has an Effective Open Area in the range of about 5% to about 50%, according to the Aperture Test herein. 25 . An absorbent article comprising the patterned apertured web of claim 25 . 26 .
