Abstract

Disclosed is a compound having the formula a) or b); a: R=CH 3 ; b: R=CH 2 CH 3 , and its use in the prevention and/or treatment of Alzheimer's disease.

First claim

1 . A compound having the following formula a) or b):

2 . A medicament comprising the compound according to claim 1 .

3 . A method of preventing and/or treating Alzheimer's disease in patients in need thereof, said method comprising
administering an effective amount of the compound according to claim 2 to said patients and preventing and/or treating said patients of said Alzheimer's disease.

4 . A pharmaceutical composition containing the compound of formula a) or b) as claimed in claim 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient and/or carrier.
