An x-ray imaging apparatus and a method of controlling the x-ray imaging apparatus are provided. The x-ray imaging apparatus includes x-ray detectors configured to store detector identification data of the x-ray detectors, and a controller configured to receive the detector identification data from the x-ray detectors, and search for detector pairing data of usable x-ray detectors that match with the received detector identification data.

1 . An x-ray imaging apparatus comprising: x-ray detectors configured to store detector identification data of the x-ray detectors; a storage unit which previously stores detector pairing data with respect to usable x-ray detectors before receiving the detector identification data; and a controller configured to: receive the detector identification data from the x-ray detectors; and search for detector pairing data of x-ray detectors that match with the received detector identification data. 2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a display configured to display features of at least one of the x-ray detectors based on the searched detector pairing data. 3 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the display is further configured to display a feature of an usable x-ray detector among the x-ray detectors based on the searched detector pairing data. 4 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the displayed feature comprises at least one among a size, a color, a shape, a resolution, a response time, a usable modality, and a diagnosis room of the x-ray detector. 5 . The apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the diagnosis room of the x-ray detector is different from another diagnosis room in which the controller is located. 6 . The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein in response to the x-ray detector being moved to the other diagnosis room in which the controller is located, the display is further configured to display the other diagnosis room of the x-ray detector. 7 . The apparatus of claim 2 , further comprising a mounting portion on which the x-ray detector is mountable, wherein the display is further configured to display the mounting portion available for mounting the x-ray detector based on the displayed feature. 8 . The apparatus of claim 7 , further comprising an interface configured to receive a selection of the displayed mounting portion on which the x-ray detector is to be mounted. 9 . The apparatus of claim 2 , further comprising an interface configured to receive a selection of the x-ray detector of which the feature is displayed, wherein the x-ray detector comprises a detector display configured to display whether the x-ray detector is selected. 10 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the controller and the display are included in a workstation. 11 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the display is included in a sub user interface. 12 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to determine whether an x-ray detector among the x-ray detectors is previously set, based on the received detector identification data. 13 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the controller is further configured to update the detector pairing data. 14 . An x-ray imaging apparatus comprising: a storage configured to previously store detector pairing data of usable x-ray detectors before receiving detector identification data; and a controller configured to: receive detector identification data of x-ray detectors from the x-ray detectors; and search for the detector pairing data matching with the received detector identification data. 15 . The apparatus of claim 14 , further comprising a display configured to display a feature of an x-ray detector among the usable x-ray detectors based on the searched detector pairing data. 16 .- 28 . (canceled) 29 . A method of controlling an x-ray imaging apparatus, the method comprising: previously storing detector pairing data with respect to usable x-ray detectors before receiving detector identification data; receiving detector identification data of x-ray detectors from the x-ray detectors; and searching for detector pairing data of x-ray detectors that match with the received detector identification data. 30 . The method of claim 29 , further comprising displaying a feature of at least one x-ray detector among the usable x-ray detectors based on the searched detector pairing data. 31 .- 32 . (canceled)
