An apparatus determines a degree of involvement of each of a plurality of entities of a supply chain network in transports of shipments associated with a particular company, based on data on shipments associated with the company that have been transported in the past. An entity of the supply chain network is a supply chain node or a supply chain lane. The apparatus moreover estimates a relevance of each of the plurality of entities for the company based on the determined degree of involvement of each of the plurality of entities in transports of shipments associated with the company. The apparatus causes storage of an indication of the estimated relevance for at least some of the plurality of entities of the supply chain network for further use.

1 . A method performed by at least one apparatus, the method comprising: determining a degree of involvement of each of a plurality of entities of a supply chain network in transports of shipments associated with a particular company, based on data on shipments associated with the company that have been transported in the past, wherein an entity of the supply chain network is one of a supply chain node and a supply chain lane; estimating a relevance of each of the plurality of entities for the company based on the determined degree of involvement of each of the plurality of entities in transports of shipments associated with the company; and causing storage of an indication of the estimated relevance for at least some of the plurality of entities of the supply chain network. 2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the supply chain network is a company specific supply chain network. 3 . The method according to claim 2 , further comprising: determining, for the company, data specifying the plurality of entities of the company specific supply chain network based on the data on shipments associated with the company that have been transported in the past; and causing storage of the data specifying the entities of the company specific supply chain network in a database; wherein causing storage of the indication of the estimated relevance for at least some of the plurality of entities of the company specific supply chain network comprises associating the indication of the estimated relevance for each of the at least some of the plurality of entities in the database with the data specifying the respective entity of the company specific supply chain network. 4 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising: obtaining the data about shipments associated with the company at least partly from a shipment database of a logistics service provider. 5 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising: updating the indications of the estimated relevance of entities of the supply chain network on a regular basis. 6 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising using the stored indications of the relevance of entities for filtering information on incidents potentially affecting entities of the supply chain network. 7 . The method according to claim 6 , comprising filtering information on incidents potentially affecting entities of the supply chain network by at least one of: filtering information on incidents that are to be reported to a user; and filtering information on incidents that have been reported to a user for presentation on a user device. 8 . The method according to claim 6 , further comprising at least one of: using at least one default threshold value for a relevance of an entity for filtering information on incidents potentially affecting the entity; using a plurality of default threshold values for a relevance of an entity for filtering information on incidents potentially affecting the entity, the default threshold values being defined for a respective severity of an incident; using at least one threshold value for a relevance of an entity for filtering information on incidents potentially affecting the entity, the at least one threshold value being set by a user; and using a plurality of threshold values for a relevance of an entity for filtering information on incidents potentially affecting the entity, the plurality of threshold values being set by a user for a respective severity of incidents. 9 . A system comprising at least one processor and at least one memory, the at least one memory storing a computer program, and the at least one memory and the computer program configured to cause at least one apparatus to perform at least the following, when the computer program is executed by the at least one processor: determine a degree of involvement of each of a plurality of entities of a supply chain network in transports of shipments associated with a particular company, based on data on shipments associated with the company that have been transported in the past, wherein an entity of the supply chain network is one of a supply chain node and a supply chain lane; estimate a relevance of each of the plurality of entities for the company based on the determined degree of involvement of each of the plurality of entities in transports of shipments associated with the company; and cause storage of an indication of the estimated relevance for at least some of the plurality of entities of the supply chain network. 10 . The system according to claim 9 , wherein the supply chain network is a company specific supply chain network. 11 . The system according to claim 10 , wherein the at least one memory and the computer program are further configured to cause at least one apparatus to: determine, for the company, data specifying the plurality of entities of the company specific supply chain network based on the data on shipments associated with the company that have been transported in the past; and cause storage of the data specifying the entities of the company specific supply chain network in a database; wherein causing storage of the indication of the estimated relevance for at least some of the plurality of entities of the company specific supply chain network comprises associating the indication of the estimated relevance for each of the at least some of the plurality of entities in the database with the data specifying the respective entity of the company specific supply chain network. 12 . The system according to claim 9 , wherein the at least one memory and the computer program are further configured to cause at least one apparatus to: obtain the data about shipments associated with the company at least partly from a shipment database of a logistics service provider. 13 . The system according to claim 9 , wherein the at least one memory and the computer program are further configured to cause at least one apparatus to: update the indications of the estimated relevance of entities of the supply chain network on a regular basis. 14 . The system according to claim 9 , wherein the at least one memory and the computer program are further configured to cause at least one apparatus to use the stored indications of the relevance of entities for filtering information on incidents potentially affecting entities of the supply chain network. 15 . The system according to claim 14 , wherein the at least one memory and the computer program are configured to cause at least one apparatus to filter information on incidents potentially affecting entities of the supply chain network by at least one of: filtering information on incidents that are to be reported to a user; and filtering information on incidents that have been reported to a user for presentation on a user device. 16 . The system according to claim 14 , wherein the at least one memory and the computer program are further configured to cause at least one apparatus to at least one of: use at least one default threshold value for a relevance of an entity for filtering information on incidents potentially affecting the entity; use a plurality of default threshold values for a relevance of an entity for filtering information on incidents potentially affecting the entity, the default threshold values being defined for a respective severity of an incident; use at least one threshold value for a relevance of an entity for filtering information on incidents potentially affecting the entity, the at least one threshold value being set by a user; and use a plurality of threshold values for a r
