A pressurised fluid cylinder having a shut-off valve with a linearly moveable valve comprising a valve element. A lever is coupled to the valve element via an eccentric coupling so dial rotation of the lever causes linear motion of the valve element. A resilient member acts between the valve element and the eccentric coupling so as to urge these apart.

1 . A pressurised fluid cylinder having a shut-off valve, the shut-off valve comprising a valve element which is movable in a linear direction towards and away from a valve seat to selectively close the shut-off valve, a lever which is coupled to the valve element via an eccentric coupling so that rotation of the lever causes linear motion of the valve element, and a resilient member acting between the valve element and the eccentric coupling so as to urge these apart. 2 . A cylinder according to claim 1 , wherein the cylinder further comprises a resilient member adjustment nut which allows adjustment of the biasing force provided by the resilient member. 3 . A cylinder according to claim 1 , wherein the eccentric coupling is coupled to the valve element via a valve stem and the resilient member is accommodated within the valve stem. 4 . A cylinder according to claim 1 , wherein the eccentric coupling is a cam mechanism. 5 . A cylinder according to claim 1 , wherein the eccentric coupling is a crank mechanism.
