Food products having portions of a dried deseeded coffee cherry are described, as well as components thereof and methods of forming. The food product may include one or more portions of a dried deseeded coffee cherry and a chocolate composition.

First claim

1 . A food product comprising: one or more portions of a dried deseeded coffee cherry; and a chocolate composition. 2 . The food product of claim 1 , wherein the one or more portions of the dried deseeded coffee cherry comprises one or more of a hull, a mucilage, a silverskin, a parchment coat, a pectin layer, a pulp, and an outer skin. 3 . The food product of claim 1 , wherein the one or more portions of the dried deseeded coffee cherry do not comprise a coffee bean. 4 . The food product of claim 1 , wherein the chocolate composition is present in the food product in an amount of about 2% to about 95% by weight of the food product and comprises at least one of cocoa solids and cocoa liquor. 5 .- 9 . The food product of claim 1 , wherein the one or more portions of the dried deseeded coffee cherry are present in the food product in an amount of about 5% to about 30% by weight of the food product, wherein the one or more portions of the dried deseeded coffee cherry have: a water content of about 6% to about 12% by weight; an average particle size of about 0.1 μm to about 3000 μm; and a peak viscosity of about 30 rapid visco units to about 3000 rapid visco units. 11 .- 13 . The food product of claim 1 , further comprising at least one fluid, wherein the fluid comprises at least one of water, liquor, juice, dairy milk, non-dairy milk, nut milk, rice milk, tea, coffee, and kava. 15 .
