Official abstract text for this publication.
A mobility parameter adjustment method and apparatus for use in a wireless communication system is provided. The mobility parameter adjustment method of a base station includes receiving connection failure information from a terminal, and adjusting a mobility adjustment parameter based on the connection failure information. The mobility parameter adjustment method and apparatus of the present disclosure is capable of adjusting mobility parameter efficiently so as to improve the mobility robustness of the wireless communication system and User Equipment (UE).

What is claimed is: 1 . A method by a first base station, the method comprising: triggering a handover for a terminal; and receiving a first message including radio link failure information from a second base station based on a reason for a radio link failure of the terminal, wherein the reason for the radio link failure of the terminal is identified based on the radio link failure information. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein a second message including the radio link failure information is received by the second base station from a third base station which received information related to a failure from the terminal, and wherein the radio link failure information included in the second message is transferred to the first base station by using the first message. 3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first message includes a handover report message. 4 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the second message includes a radio link failure indication message. 5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first base station is a network node of which the mobility parameter is required to be adjusted based on the reason for the radio link failure. 6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the radio link failure information is used to identify a cell for serving the terminal at the time of the radio link failure. 7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: adjusting a mobility parameter based on the radio link failure information. 8 . A first base station comprising: a communication unit configured to transmit and receive a signal; and a control unit configured to: trigger a handover for a terminal, and receive a first message including radio link failure information from a second base station based on a reason for a radio link failure of the terminal, wherein the reason for a radio link failure of the terminal is identified based on the radio link failure information. 9 . The first base station of claim 8 , wherein a second message including the radio link failure information is received by the second base station from a third base station which received information related to a failure from the terminal, and wherein the radio link failure information included in the second message is transferred to the first base station by using the first message. 10 . The first base station of claim 8 , wherein the first message includes a handover report message. 11 . The first base station of claim 9 , wherein the second message includes a radio link failure indication message. 12 . The first base station of claim 8 , wherein the first base station is a network node of which the mobility parameter is required to be adjusted based on the reason for the radio link failure. 13 . The first base station of claim 8 , wherein the radio link failure information is used to identify a cell for serving the terminal at the time of the radio link failure. 14 . The first base station of claim 8 , wherein the control unit is further configured to adjust a mobility parameter based on the radio link failure information.
