Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and apparatus for configuring channel quality indicator (CQI) and a method and apparatus for configuring modulation and coding scheme. The method for configuring CQI includes: configuring UE with a CQI index table by an eNB via CQI index table indication information, so that the UE determines the configured CQI index table according to the indication information, and calculates a CQI index according to calculated precoding matrix indicator (PMI) and rank indication (RI) by using the configured CQI index table. With the embodiments of the present disclosure, the eNB may configure different UEs with different ‘4-bit CQI tables’ and/or ‘modulation and TBS index tables’ while keeping the CQI index and the I MCS bit number unchanged. Therefore, not only the CQI index and the I MCS bit number need not to be increased, but also normal configuration of the LTE system may be ensured.

What is claimed is: 1 . An eNB, applicable to configuring UE with CQI, comprising: a configuring unit configured to configure UE with a CQI index table via CQI index table indication information, so that the UE determines the configured CQI index table according to the indication information, and reports a CQI index according to reported precoding matrix indicator (PMI) and rank indication (RI) by using the configured CQI index table. 2 . The eNB according to claim 1 , wherein the configuring unit carries the CQI index table indication information via RRC signaling. 3 . The eNB according to claim 1 , wherein the configuring unit carries the CQI index table indication information via MAC signaling. 4 . The eNB according to claim 2 , wherein the configuring unit carries the RRC signaling via a common information element used for configuring PUCCH transmission. 5 . The eNB according to claim 2 , wherein the configuring unit carries the RRC signaling via a UE-specific information element used for configuring PUCCH transmission. 6 . UE, comprising: a first reporting unit configured to report PMI and RI according to a channel estimation result; a determining unit configured to determine a configured CQI index table according to received CQI index table indication information transmitted by an eNB; and a second reporting unit configured to report a CQI index according to the PMI and the RI by using the CQI index table configured by the eNB for the UE determined by the determining unit. 7 . An eNB, applicable to configuring UE with an MCS, comprising: a configuring unit configured to configure UE with a modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission, and/or a modulation and TBS index table needed in uplink transmission, via modulation and TBS index table indication information, so that the UE, after receiving the indication information, determines the MCS configured by the eNB for it according to the modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission and/or the modulation and TBS index table needed in uplink transmission. 8 . The eNB according to claim 7 , wherein the configuring unit carries the indication information of the modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission via RRC signaling. 9 . The eNB according to claim 8 , wherein the configuring unit carries the RRC signaling via a common information element used for configuring PDSCH transmission. 10 . The eNB according to claim 8 , wherein the configuring unit carries the RRC signaling via a UE-specific information element used for configuring PDSCH transmission. 11 . The eNB according to claim 7 , wherein the configuring unit carries the indication information of the modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission via MAC signaling. 12 . The eNB according to claim 7 , wherein the configuring unit carries the indication information of the modulation and TBS index table used for uplink transmission via RRC signaling. 13 . The eNB according to claim 12 , wherein the configuring unit carries the RRC signaling via a common information element used for configuring PUSCH transmission. 14 . The eNB according to claim 12 , wherein the configuring unit carries the RRC signaling via a UE-specific information element used for configuring PUSCH transmission. 15 . The eNB according to claim 7 , wherein the configuring unit carries the indication information of the modulation and TBS index table used for uplink transmission via MAC signaling. 16 . UE, comprising: a first determining unit configured to determine a modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission according to received modulation and TBS index table indication information transmitted by an eNB; and a second determining unit configured to determine the MCS configured by the eNB for it according to the modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission. 17 . UE, comprising: a first determining unit configured to determine a modulation and TBS index table needed in uplink transmission according to received modulation and TBS index table indication information transmitted by an eNB; and a second determining unit configured to determine the MCS configured by the eNB for it according to the modulation and TBS index table needed in uplink transmission. 18 . A communication system comprising A UE comprising a first reporting unit configured to report PMI and RI according to a channel estimation result, a determining unit configured to determine a configured CQI index table according to received CQI index table indication information transmitted by an eNB, and a second reporting unit configured to report a CQI index according to the PMI and the RI by using the CQI index table configured by the eNB for the UE determined by the determining unit; and the eNB comprising a configuring unit to configure the UE with a CQI index table via CQI index table indication information, so that the UE determines the configured CQI index table according to the indication information, and reports a CQI index according to reported precoding matrix indicator (PMI) and rank indication (RI) by using the configured CQI index table. 19 . A communication system comprising: A UE comprising a first determining unit configured to determine a modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission according to received modulation and TBS index table indication information transmitted by an eNB, and a second determining unit configured to determine the MCS configured by the eNB for it according to the modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission; and the eNB comprising a configuring unit to configure the UE with a modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission, and/or a modulation and TBS index table needed in uplink transmission, via modulation and TBS index table indication information, so that the UE, after receiving the indication information, determines an MCS configured by the eNB for it according to the modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission and/or the modulation and TBS index table needed in uplink transmission. 20 . A communication system comprising: A UE comprising a first determining unit configured to determine a modulation and TBS index table needed in uplink transmission according to received modulation and TBS index table indication information transmitted by an eNB, and a second determining unit configured to determine the MCS configured by the eNB for it according to the modulation and TBS index table needed in uplink transmission. and the eNB comprising a configuring unit to configure the UE with a modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission, and/or a modulation and TBS index table needed in uplink transmission, via modulation and TBS index table indication information, so that the UE, after receiving the indication information, determines an MCS configured by the eNB for it according to the modulation and TBS index table used for downlink transmission and/or the modulation and TBS index table needed in uplink transmission.
