A processing machine for performing a bending operation on a workpiece includes a die, a punch movable in a first direction for pressing the workpiece against the die, a slide member movable in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, a first cam device that moves the punch toward the die for deforming the workpiece when being actuated by movement of the slide member, a second cam device that moves the punch for pressing a surface of the workpiece when being actuated by movement of the slide member. The pressure angle of the second cam device is smaller than a pressure angle of the first cam device. The processing machine further includes a drive member configured to move the slide member such that the second cam device is actuated after the first cam device is actuated.

What is claimed is: 1 . A processing machine for performing a bending operation on a workpiece comprising: a die on which the workpiece is placed; a punch movable in a first direction for pressing the workpiece against the die; a slide member movable in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; a first cam device that moves the punch toward the die for deforming the workpiece when being actuated by movement of the slide member; a second cam device that moves the punch for pressing a surface of the workpiece when being actuated by movement of the slide member, a pressure angle of the second cam device being smaller than a pressure angle of the first cam device; and a drive member configured to move the slide member such that the second cam device is actuated after the first cam device is actuated. 2 . The processing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the slide member includes a first slide member and a second slide member disposed on an opposite die side of the first slide member, the first cam device is disposed between the punch and the first slide member, the second cam device is disposed between the first slide member and the second slide member, and the drive member is configured to move the second slide member after moving the first slide member. 3 . The processing machine according to claim 2 , wherein the drive member is a slide column movable in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions, the slide column including a third cam device for moving the first slide member and a fourth cam device for moving the second slide member after the first slide member is moved by the third cam device. 4 . The processing machine according to claim 3 , further comprising: a hanger member disposed between the third cam device and the first slide member and supporting the first slide member so as to restrict the first slide member from moving to the die side; a first restriction member for restricting the first slide member and the hanger member from moving in an opposite die side; and a second restriction member for restricting the hanger member from moving to the die side, a gap being present between the first slide member and the hanger member when the first slide member and the first restriction member are in abutment with each other, the gap being a space necessary for the first slide member to move to the die side by an action of the second cam device. 5 . The processing machine according to claim 4 , wherein each of a gap between the hanger member and the first restriction member and a gap between the hanger member and the second restriction member has a size allowing the hanger member to move and suppressing inclination of the hanger member. 6 . The processing machine according to claim 2 , further comprising a fixing member for restricting the second slide member from moving to the die side. an upper roller disposed between the second slide member and the fixing member, a pressing member disposed between the second slide member and the first slide member for restricting the second slide member from moving to the die side, and a lower roller disposed between cams of the second cam device which are locate on a side of the second slide member and on a side of the pressing member, respectively. 7 . The processing machine according to claim 1 , wherein the first cam device and the second cam device are disposed side by side in the second direction between the punch and the slide member. 8 . A bending method for performing a bending operation using the processing machine recited in claim 1 , comprising: a positioning process of positioning the workpiece on the die; a bending process of deforming the workpiece by moving the slide member using the drive member to actuate the first cam device to cause the punch to press the workpiece at a first load; and a surface pressing process of pressing a surface of the deformed workpiece by moving the slide member using the drive member to actuate the second cam device to cause the punch to press the surface of the workpiece at a second load larger than the first load.
