Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Systems and methods of registering geocodes with a geofence and delivering geocodes which define geofences to devices are described herein. Geocodes include strings of words, letters, numbers, and combinations thereof. Geocodes associated with the same or similar geofences are cohesive and provide for improved location information, with IP addresses being assigned to the geocodes.

The invention claimed is: 1 . A geocode delivery system, comprising: at least one mobile device including a processor and a memory, wherein the at least one mobile device is constructed and configured for wireless communication; at least one domain name, wherein the at least one domain name is updated based on a location of the at least one mobile device; wherein each of the at least one domain name corresponds to at least one Internet Protocol (IP) address; wherein the at least one domain name is translatable to a geographic designator and the at least one IP address; wherein the at least one mobile device is operable to send a request for geofence information on the at least one domain name; wherein a search engine is configured to receive a request from the at least one mobile device and identify whether the at least one domain name corresponds to a location within at least one geofence; wherein the at least one mobile device is operable to receive a Domain Name Service (DNS) response to the request; wherein the DNS response contains location data and metadata for the at least one geofence; wherein the metadata includes at least one lookup table identifier, wherein the metadata are operable to be redefined via the lookup table identifier; wherein the processor and the memory are operable to confirm and activate at least one rule, permission, or license associated with the at least one geofence; wherein the geocode delivery system uses a forward DNS model to resolve the at least one domain name or the at least one IP address into at least one anchor point and the metadata for the at least one geofence; and wherein the at least one mobile device includes a graphical user interface (GUI), wherein the GUI is operable to display the metadata for the at least one geofence via an interactive map in real-time. 2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one domain name includes a plurality of characters. 3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one domain name is a geocode. 4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one geofence includes at least one real property boundary, and wherein at least one real estate title is linked to at least one real property boundary. 5 . A geocode delivery system, comprising: at least one mobile device including a processor and a memory, wherein the at least one mobile device is constructed and configured for wireless communication; at least one domain name, wherein the at least one domain name is updated based on a location of the at least one mobile device; wherein the at least one domain name is translatable to a geographic designator and at least one unique Internet Protocol (IP) address; wherein the at least one mobile device is operable to send a request for geofence information based on the at least one domain name; wherein a search engine is configured to receive a request from the at least one mobile device and identify whether the at least one domain name corresponds to a location within at least one geofence; wherein the at least one mobile device is operable to receive a Domain Name Service (DNS) response to the request; wherein the DNS response contains location data and metadata for the at least one geofence; and wherein the metadata includes at least one lookup table identifier, wherein the metadata are operable to be redefined via the lookup table identifier; wherein the processor and the memory are operable to confirm and activate at least one rule, permission, or license associated with the at least one geofence; wherein the geocode delivery system uses a forward DNS model to resolve the at least one domain name or the at least one unique IP address into at least one anchor point and the metadata for the at least one geofence; and wherein the at least one mobile device includes a graphical user interface (GUI), wherein the GUI is operable to display the metadata for the at least one geofence via an interactive map in real-time. 6 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the at least one domain name includes a plurality of characters. 7 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the at least one domain name is a geocode. 8 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the at least one geofence includes at least one real property boundary, and wherein at least one real estate title is linked to at least one real property boundary. 9 . A geocode delivery method, comprising: determining at least one domain name based on a location of at least one mobile device including a processor and a memory; the at least one mobile device sending a request for geofence information based on at least one domain name; the at least one domain name translating between a geographic designator and at least one unique Internet Protocol (IP) address; a search engine receiving the request from the at least one mobile device; and the search engine identifying whether the at least one domain name corresponds to a location within at least one geofence; compiling location data and metadata for the at least one geofence; and the at least one mobile device receiving a DNS response containing the compiled location data and metadata for the at least one geofence; wherein the processor and the memory are operable to confirm and activate at least one rule, permission, or license associated with the at least one geofence; wherein the geocode delivery system uses a forward DNS model to resolve the at least one domain name or the at least one unique IP address linked with the at least one mobile device into at least one anchor point and the metadata for the at least one geofence; and wherein the at least one mobile device includes a graphical user interface (GUI), wherein the GUI is operable to display the metadata for the at least one geofence via an interactive map in real-time. 10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the at least one domain name includes a plurality of characters. 11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the at least one geofence includes at least one real property boundary, and wherein at least one real estate title is linked to at least one real property boundary.
