The reception device according to claim 1 , wherein the reception signal comparer is configured to determine whether change patterns in the reception signals respectively corresponding to the X-polarized wave and the Y-polarized wave, separated by the polarization separator, are similar to each other, based on the change patterns in the reception signals respectively corresponding to the X-polarized wave and the Y-polarized wave in a predetermined period. 3 . The reception device according to claim 1 , wherein the reception signal comparer is configured to: collect determination results every predetermined period, the determination results obtained from a determination whether change patterns in the reception signals respectively corresponding to the X-polarized wave and the Y-polarized wave are similar to each other based on the change patterns in the reception signals respectively corresponding to the X-polarized wave and the Y-polarized wave in the predetermined period, and determine whether change patterns in the reception signals respectively corresponding to the X-polarized wave and the Y-polarized wave are similar to each other based on a plurality of collected determination results. 4 . The reception device according to claim 2 , wherein the reception signal comparer is configured to determine whether change patterns in the reception signals respectively corresponding to the X-polarized wave and the Y-polarized wave are similar to each other, based on the sum of absolute values of differences between the reception signals respectively corresponding to the X-polarized wave and the Y-polarized wave in the predetermined period. 5 . The reception device according to claim 1 , wherein the reception signal comparer is configured to output one of the reception signals respectively corresponding to the X-polarized wave and the Y-polarized wave, separated by the polarization separator, to the first signal decoder, in a case where it is determined that change patterns in the reception signals respectively corresponding to the X-polarized wave and the Y-polarized wave are similar to each other, and the first signal decoder is configured to decode a single-sequence transmission signal from the reception signal corresponding to either one of the X-polarized wave and the Y-polarized wave, output by the reception signal comparer. 6 .
