One or more alerts are received at the electronic device. In some embodiments, the device determines how notifications corresponding to the alerts should be output to the user at the device. In some embodiments, the device determines whether to output respective content corresponding to the alert based on one or more criteria. For example, if a request is detected within a time threshold, the device outputs the respective content; if the request is detected after an amount of time greater than the time threshold has elapsed, the device forgoes outputting the respective content.

What is claimed is: 1 . An electronic device that is configured to communicate with a display generation component and a non-visual output device, the electronic device comprising: one or more processors; a memory; and one or more programs, wherein the one or more programs are stored in the memory and configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for: detecting an occurrence of an event; outputting, via the non-visual output device, a non-visual alert corresponding to the event; after outputting the non-visual alert, detecting a request to display a user interface, wherein the request to display the user interface includes a respective input; and in response to detecting the respective input: in accordance with a determination that the respective input is detected within a time threshold of outputting the non-visual alert, displaying, via the display generation component, content corresponding to the non-visual alert; and in accordance with a determination that the respective input is detected after an amount of time greater than the time threshold has elapsed since outputting the non-visual alert, forgoing displaying, via the display generation component, the content corresponding to the non-visual alert. 2 . The electronic device of claim 1 , the one or more programs further including instructions for: in response to detecting the respective input, further in accordance with the determination that the respective input is detected after an amount of time greater than the time threshold has elapsed since outputting the non-visual alert, displaying a system user interface. 3 . The electronic device of claim 2 , wherein the system user interface is a home screen user interface. 4 . The electronic device of claim 2 , wherein the system user interface is a clock face user interface. 5 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the non-visual alert is a transient alert. 6 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the non-visual alert corresponds to an exercise event. 7 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein the respective input is a wrist raise gesture. 8 . The electronic device of claim 1 , wherein outputting the non-visual alert includes outputting a haptic output. 9 . The electronic device of claim 1 , the one or more programs further including instructions for: in response to detecting the respective input, further in accordance with the determination that the respective input is detected after an amount of time greater than the time threshold has elapsed since outputting the non-visual alert, concurrently displaying: a clock face; and an indication corresponding to the non-visual alert. 10 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured to be executed by one or more processors of an electronic device that is in communication with a display generation component and a non-visual output device, the one or more programs including instructions for: detecting an occurrence of an event; outputting, via the non-visual output device, a non-visual alert corresponding to the event; after outputting the non-visual alert, detecting a request to display a user interface, wherein the request to display the user interface includes a respective input; and in response to detecting the respective input: in accordance with a determination that the respective input is detected within a time threshold of outputting the non-visual alert, displaying, via the display generation component, content corresponding to the non-visual alert; and in accordance with a determination that the respective input is detected after an amount of time greater than the time threshold has elapsed since outputting the non-visual alert, forgoing displaying, via the display generation component, the content corresponding to the non-visual alert. 11 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10 , the one or more programs further including instructions for: in response to detecting the respective input, further in accordance with the determination that the respective input is detected after an amount of time greater than the time threshold has elapsed since outputting the non-visual alert, displaying a system user interface. 12 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 11 , wherein the system user interface is a home screen user interface. 13 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 11 , wherein the system user interface is a clock face user interface. 14 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10 , wherein the non-visual alert is a transient alert. 15 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10 , wherein the non-visual alert corresponds to an exercise event. 16 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10 , wherein the respective input is a wrist raise gesture. 17 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10 , wherein outputting the non-visual alert includes outputting a haptic output. 18 . The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10 , the one or more programs further including instructions for: in response to detecting the respective input, further in accordance with the determination that the respective input is detected after an amount of time greater than the time threshold has elapsed since outputting the non-visual alert, concurrently displaying: a clock face; and an indication corresponding to the non-visual alert. 19 . A method, comprising: at an electronic device that is in communication with a display generation component and a non-visual output device: detecting an occurrence of an event; outputting, via the non-visual output device, a non-visual alert corresponding to the event; after outputting the non-visual alert, detecting a request to display a user interface, wherein the request to display the user interface includes a respective input; and in response to detecting the respective input: in accordance with a determination that the respective input is detected within a time threshold of outputting the non-visual alert, displaying, via the display generation component, content corresponding to the non-visual alert; and in accordance with a determination that the respective input is detected after an amount of time greater than the time threshold has elapsed since outputting the non-visual alert, forgoing displaying, via the display generation component, the content corresponding to the non-visual alert. 20 . The method of claim 19 , further comprising: in response to detecting the respective input, further in accordance with the determination that the respective input is detected after an amount of time greater than the time threshold has elapsed since outputting the non-visual alert, displaying a system user interface. 21 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the system user interface is a home screen user interface. 22 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the system user interface is a clock face user interface. 23 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the non-visual alert is a transient alert. 24 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the non-visual alert corresponds to an exercise event. 25 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the respective input is a wrist raise gesture.
