Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A mask apparatus includes a mask body that defines a suction hole and a discharge hole, a face guard detachably coupled to the mask body by magnetic force and configured to contact a face of a user, and an air cleaning module configured to filter external air and to supply the filtered air to a breathing space. The face guard includes a coupling portion facing a rear surface of the mask body. The coupling portion includes a magnetic body and a magnetic body mounting portion that receives the magnetic body. The magnetic body mounting portion includes a mounting portion body that protrudes forward from an outer surface of the coupling portion and an insertion guide rib disposed inside the mounting portion body, where the mounting portion body and the insertion guide rib are spaced apart from each other to thereby define an insertion hole that receives the magnetic body.

What is claimed is: 1 . A mask apparatus comprising: a mask body that defines a suction hole configured to receive external air from an outside of the mask apparatus and a discharge hole configured to discharge air to the outside, the mask body comprising a rear body and a front body that is coupled to a front surface of the rear body; a face guard detachably coupled to a rear surface of the rear body by magnetic force and configured to be in contact with a face of a user, the face guard defining a breathing space; and an air cleaning module disposed at the rear body and configured to filter the external air received through the suction hole and to supply the filtered air to the breathing space, wherein the face guard comprises: a coupling portion configured to face the rear surface of the rear body, a close contact portion configured to be in contact with the face of the user, a connection portion that connects the coupling portion to the close contact portion, the connection portion defining one or more widths of the face guard in a front-rear direction, and a magnetic body disposed at the coupling portion, wherein the coupling portion comprises a magnetic body mounting portion that receives the magnetic body, the magnetic body mounting portion comprising: a mounting portion body that protrudes forward from an outer surface of the coupling portion toward the rear body, and an insertion guide rib disposed inside the mounting portion body, wherein the mounting portion body and the insertion guide rib are spaced apart from each other to thereby define an insertion hole that receives the magnetic body between the mounting portion body and the insertion guide rib, wherein the mounting portion body defines an inner space that accommodates the magnetic body, the inner space having a front opening that is open toward the rear body, and wherein the magnetic body is separably coupled to the mounting portion body through the front opening of the mounting portion body. 2 . The mask apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the insertion guide rib is disposed at an inner center of the mounting portion body, the insertion guide rib having a pair of ends that are curved rearward and extend toward the close contact portion. 3 . The mask apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the magnetic body has a pair of sides that extend rearward toward the close contact portion, each of the pair of sides of the magnetic body being inserted into a space defined between one of the pair of ends of the insertion guide rib and one of inner surfaces of the mounting portion body. 4 . The mask apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the magnetic body comprises: a magnetic main body that covers a front surface of the mounting portion body; and a pair of fixing hooks that extend from the magnetic main body, each of the pair of fixing hooks extending rearward from one of side ends of the magnetic main body toward the close contact portion and being inserted into the insertion hole. 5 . The mask apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein each of the pair of fixing hooks comprises: an extension portion that extends rearward from one of the side ends of the magnetic main body; and a hook portion having a hook shape that extends from an end of the extension portion in a direction crossing the front-rear direction. 6 . The mask apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein each of the pair of fixing hooks is press-fitted into the mounting portion body. 7 . The mask apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a magnet disposed at the front surface of the rear body and configured to provide the magnetic force to the magnetic body to thereby couple the face guard to the rear body, wherein the rear body comprises a magnet mounting portion that protrudes from the front surface of the rear body and receives the magnet, and wherein the rear body defines a magnet mounting groove at the rear surface of the rear body, the magnet mounting groove being defined at a position corresponding to a rear surface of the magnet mounting portion and receiving at least a portion of the magnetic body mounting portion. 8 . The mask apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein the magnetic body is made of iron or stainless steel. 9 . The mask apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the magnetic body mounting portion is one of a plurality of magnetic body mounting portions that are disposed at a front surface of the coupling portion, the plurality of magnetic body mounting portions comprising: a first magnetic body mounting portion disposed at a center of an upper portion of the front surface of the coupling portion; and a second magnetic body mounting portion and a third magnetic body mounting portion that are disposed at a lower portion of the front surface of the coupling portion, the second and third magnetic body mounting portions being spaced apart from each other and disposed at sides of a center of the lower portion of the front surface of the coupling portion. 10 . The mask apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the first magnetic body mounting portion is disposed at a portion of the face guard corresponding to an upper side of the air cleaning module, and wherein the second and third magnetic body mounting portions are disposed at portions of the face guard corresponding to a lower side of the air cleaning module. 11 . The mask apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the first magnetic body mounting portion is disposed at a portion of the face guard corresponding to an upper side of the discharge hole, and wherein the second and third magnetic body mounting portions are disposed at portions of the face guard corresponding to a lower side of the discharge hole. 12 . The mask apparatus according to claim 9 , further comprising a plurality of magnets disposed at the front surface of the rear body and configured to provide the magnetic force to thereby couple the face guard to the rear body, wherein the rear body comprises a plurality of magnet mounting portions that protrude from the front surface of the rear body, each of the plurality of magnet mounting portions receiving one of the plurality of magnets. 13 .
