Opening claim text (preview).
What is claimed is: 1 . A two-ply sanitary tissue product, comprising: a multi-layered ply comprising a plurality of layers, wherein all of the layers of the multi-layered ply comprise at least about 5% by weight of the layer of non-wood fibers. 2 . The two-ply sanitary tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the multi-layered ply comprises a plurality of knuckles and a plurality of pillows, wherein the plurality of pillows exhibit a greater basis weight than the plurality of knuckles as measured according to the Micro-CT Basis Weight, Thickness and Density Intensive Properties Method. 3 . The two-ply sanitary tissue product of claim 1 , wherein a first layer of the multi-layered ply comprises fibers having a shorter fiber length than fibers in a second layer of the multi-layered ply. 4 . The two-ply sanitary tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the multi-layered ply is creped. 5 . The two-ply sanitary tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the multi-layered ply is through-air-dried (TAD). 6 . The two-ply sanitary tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the multi-layered ply is uncreped. 7 . The two-ply sanitary tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the non-wood fibers are selected from the group consisting of bamboo, abaca, and mixtures thereof. 8 . The two-ply sanitary tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the multi-layered ply comprises a plurality of knuckles and a plurality of pillows, wherein the plurality of knuckles exhibit a greater basis weight than the plurality of pillows as measured according to the Micro-CT Basis Weight, Thickness and Density Intensive Properties Method. 9 . The two-ply sanitary tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the multi-layered ply comprises a plurality of pillows that are outwardly-facing. 10 . The two-ply sanitary tissue product of claim 1 , wherein the non-wood fibers comprise abaca fibers. 11 . A sanitary tissue product, comprising: a multi-layered ply comprising a plurality of layers, wherein all of the layers of the multi-layered ply comprise at least about 5% by weight of the layer of non-wood fibers and wherein the multi-layered ply comprises an exterior surface of the sanitary tissue product. 12 . The sanitary tissue product of claim 11 , wherein the multi-layered ply comprises a plurality of knuckles and a plurality of pillows, wherein the plurality of pillows exhibit a greater basis weight than the plurality of knuckles as measured according to the Micro-CT Basis Weight, Thickness and Density Intensive Properties Method. 13 . The sanitary tissue product of claim 11 , wherein a first layer of the multi-layered ply comprises fibers having a shorter fiber length than fibers in a second layer of the multi-layered ply. 14 . The sanitary tissue product of claim 11 , wherein the multi-layered ply is creped. 15 . The sanitary tissue product of claim 11 , wherein the multi-layered ply is through-air-dried (TAD). 16 . The sanitary tissue product of claim 11 , wherein the multi-layered ply is uncreped. 17 . The sanitary tissue product of claim 11 , wherein the non-wood fibers are selected from the group consisting of bamboo, abaca, and mixtures thereof. 18 . The sanitary tissue product of claim 11 , wherein the multi-layered ply comprises a plurality of knuckles and a plurality of pillows, wherein the plurality of knuckles exhibit a greater basis weight than the plurality of pillows as measured according to the Micro-CT Basis Weight, Thickness and Density Intensive Properties Method. 19 . The sanitary tissue product of claim 11 , wherein the multi-layered ply comprises a plurality of pillows that are outwardly-facing. 20 . The sanitary tissue product of claim 11 , wherein the non-wood fibers comprise abaca fibers.
