Various systems and methods for collecting and generating analytics of data from motor vehicle safety and operation systems are disclosed herein. In one example, various minor vehicle incidents and events such as hard braking, swerving, deceleration, are tracked and correlated to geographic locations. Event data for these incidents may be collected, aggregated, anonymized, and electronically communicated to a processing system for further analysis and identification of problematic roadway and traffic conditions.

What is claimed is: 1 . A method for collecting data from a motor vehicle, the method comprising operations performed by processing circuitry of an electronic device, the operations comprising: obtaining event data from the motor vehicle, wherein the electronic device is operably coupled to the motor vehicle, and wherein the event data represents data from operation of the motor vehicle in a driving environment; obtaining driving condition data related to the conditions of driving from one or more sensors of the electronic device; identifying, from the event data and the driving condition data, an adverse driving condition experienced by the motor vehicle in the driving environment; automatically correlating the event data and the driving condition data with location information and time information of the adverse driving condition whenever the adverse driving condition is identified and thereby creating correlated data, the location information comprising a set of geographical coordinates indicating a location of the adverse driving condition, and the time information indicating a time of the adverse driving condition; notifying a second electronic device that is communicably coupled with the electronic device in real time of the correlated data so that the second electronic device has immediate access to the correlated data; and guiding the second electronic device to provide guidance to one or more motor vehicles to address the adverse driving condition. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the adverse driving condition is a collision. 3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the adverse driving condition is harsh braking. 4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the adverse driving condition is harsh cornering. 5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the driving condition data comprises one or more images from a camera of the electronic device. 6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising providing the event data to the second electronic device at regular intervals. 7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising causing the driving condition data, the location information, and the time information to be communicated via a cellular network after notification of the adverse driving condition to the second electronic device. 8 . At least one non-transitory machine-readable medium capable of storing instructions that, when executed, cause processing circuitry of an electronic device to perform operations comprising: obtaining event data from a motor vehicle, wherein the electronic device is operably coupled to the motor vehicle, and wherein the event data represents data from operation of the motor vehicle in a driving environment; obtaining driving condition data related to the conditions of driving from one or more sensors of the electronic device; identifying, from the event data and the driving condition data, an adverse driving condition experienced by the motor vehicle in the driving environment; automatically correlating the event data and the driving condition data with location information and time information of the adverse driving condition whenever the adverse driving condition is identified and thereby creating correlated data, the location information comprising a set of geographical coordinates indicating a location of the adverse driving condition, and the time information indicating a time of the adverse driving condition; notifying a second electronic device that is communicably coupled with the electronic device in real time of the correlated data so that the second electronic device has immediate access to the correlated data; and guiding the second electronic device to provide guidance to one or more motor vehicles to address the adverse driving condition. 9 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the adverse driving condition is a collision. 10 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the adverse driving condition is harsh braking. 11 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the adverse driving condition is harsh cornering. 12 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the driving condition data comprises one or more images from a camera of the electronic device. 13 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed, further cause the processing circuitry of the electronic device to provide the event data to the second electronic device at regular intervals. 14 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed, further cause the processing circuitry of the electronic device to cause the driving condition data, the location information, and the time information to be communicated via a cellular network after notification of the adverse driving condition to the second electronic device. 15 . An electronic device comprising: a memory comprising instructions; and processing circuitry configured, upon executing the instructions, to: obtain event data from a motor vehicle, wherein the electronic device is operably coupled to the motor vehicle, and wherein the event data represents data from operation of the motor vehicle in a driving environment; obtain driving condition data from one or more sensors of the electronic device; identify, from the event data and the driving condition data, an adverse driving condition experienced by the motor vehicle in the driving environment; automatically correlate the event data and the driving condition data with location information and time information of the adverse driving condition whenever the adverse driving condition is identified and thereby creating correlated data, the location information comprising a set of geographical coordinates indicating a location of the adverse driving condition, and the time information indicating a time of the adverse driving condition; notify a second electronic device that is communicably coupled with the electronic device in real time of the correlated data so that the second electronic device has immediate access to the correlated data; and guide the second electronic device to provide guidance to one or more motor vehicles to address the adverse driving condition. 16 . The electronic device of claim 15 , wherein the adverse driving condition is a collision. 17 . The electronic device of claim 15 , wherein the adverse driving condition is harsh braking. 18 . The electronic device of claim 15 , wherein the adverse driving condition is harsh cornering. 19 . The electronic device of claim 15 , wherein the driving condition data comprises one or more images from a camera of the electronic device. 20 . The electronic device of claim 15 , further comprising providing the event data to the second electronic device at regular intervals. 21 . The electronic device of claim 15 , wherein the processing circuitry is further configured to, after notification of the adverse driving condition to the second electronic device, cause the driving condition data, the location information, and the time information to be communicated via a cellular network.
