Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A method for initiating a provisioning of a payment account to a mobile wallet includes generating, by a provider computing system on an initiating device, a user interface configured to initiate the provisioning of one or more payment accounts; receiving, by the provider computing system via the user interface, authentication information, wherein the authentication information authenticates a user associated with the mobile wallet; retrieving, by the provider computing system and based on the authentication information, account information associated with the user regarding one or more eligible payment accounts for provisioning; displaying, by the provider computing system via the user interface, a list of the one or more eligible payment accounts provisioning; and receiving, by the provider computing system via the user interface, a selection of the payment account from the list for provisioning to the mobile wallet.

What is claimed is: 1 . A method for initiating a provisioning of a payment account to a mobile wallet, the method comprising: generating, by a provider computing system on an initiating device, a user interface configured to initiate the provisioning of one or more payment accounts; receiving, by the provider computing system via the user interface, authentication information, wherein the authentication information authenticates a user associated with the mobile wallet; retrieving, by the provider computing system and based on the authentication information, account information associated with the user regarding one or more eligible payment accounts for provisioning; displaying, by the provider computing system via the user interface, a list of the one or more eligible payment accounts for provisioning; and receiving, by the provider computing system via the user interface, a selection of the payment account from the list for provisioning to the mobile wallet. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the account information comprises at least one of a digital token associated with sensitive information configured for interpretation by an authorized computing system or a digital code configured for utilization as a payment credential. 3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the account information is associated with a primary account number of the payment account. 4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the payment account comprises a credit card or debit card account, and wherein the account information comprises a payment token comprising a sixteen digit number configured for utilization in place of an original sixteen digit number of a credit card or debit card corresponding to the credit card or debit card account. 5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising authorizing the account information for use in a mobile wallet transaction. 6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the account information is sent directly to a mobile device of the user without going through the initiating device. 7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein encrypted authentication information of the user is received by the provider computing system based on a short-range communication of the encrypted authentication information from a mobile device of the user to the initiating device so that the authentication information is encrypted prior to being received by the initiating device. 8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the initiating device is separate and distinct from a mobile device of the user. 9 . A provider computing system for initiating a provisioning of a payment account to a mobile wallet, the provider computing system comprising: a circuit configured to: provide, on an initiating device, a user interface configured to initiate the provisioning of one or more payment accounts; receive, via the user interface, authentication information, wherein the authentication information authenticates a user associated with the mobile wallet; retrieve, based on the authentication information, account information associated with the user regarding one or more eligible payment accounts for provisioning; display, via the user interface, a list of the one or more eligible payment accounts for provisioning; and receive, via the user interface, a selection of the payment account from the list for provisioning to the mobile wallet. 10 . The provider computing system of claim 9 , wherein the account information comprises at least one of a digital token associated with sensitive information configured for interpretation by an authorized computing system or a digital code configured for utilization as a payment credential. 11 . The provider computing system of claim 9 , wherein the account information is associated with a primary account number of a payment account associated with the user. 12 . The provider computing system of claim 9 , wherein the payment account comprises a credit card or debit card account, and wherein the account information comprises a payment token comprising a sixteen digit number configured for utilization in place of an original sixteen digit number of a credit card or debit card corresponding to the credit card or debit card account. 13 . The provider computing system of claim 9 , wherein the circuit is further configured to authorize the account information for use in a mobile wallet transaction. 14 . The provider computing system of claim 9 , wherein the account information is sent directly to a mobile device of the user without going through the initiating device. 15 . The provider computing system of claim 9 , wherein encrypted authentication information of the user is received by the circuit based on a short-range communication of the encrypted authentication information from a mobile device of the user to the initiating device so that the authentication information is encrypted prior to being received by the initiating device. 16 . The provider computing system of claim 9 , wherein the initiating device is separate and distinct from a mobile device of the user. 17 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors cause operations comprising: generating, on an initiating device, a user interface configured to initiate a provisioning of one or more payment accounts to a mobile wallet; receiving, via the user interface, authentication information, wherein the authentication information authenticates a user associated with the mobile wallet; retrieving, based on the authentication information, account information associated with the user regarding one or more eligible payment accounts for provisioning; displaying, via the user interface, a list of the one or more eligible payment accounts for provisioning; and receiving, via the user interface, a selection of a payment account from the list for provisioning to the mobile wallet. 18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the account information comprises at least one of a digital token associated with sensitive information configured for interpretation by an authorized computing system or a digital code configured for utilization as a payment credential. 19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the account information is associated with a primary account number of a payment account associated with the user. 20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the payment account comprises a credit card or debit card account, and wherein the account information comprises a payment token comprising a sixteen digit number configured for utilization in place of an original sixteen digit number of a credit card or debit card corresponding to the credit card or debit card account.
