A power end assembly includes a crankshaft section, a crosshead section, and a connector section coupled together by one, two, or more sets of stay rods. The power end may include one or more support plates that are coupled to the crankshaft section and/or crosshead section. The crosshead section includes a plurality of individual crosshead frames. The connector section may include a plurality of individual connector plates or may be a unitary connector plate. The power end is configured to be coupled to a fluid end assembly by coupling the fluid end assembly to the connector plates.

The invention claimed is: 1 . A kit comprising: a crank frame of single-piece construction, having opposed front and rear surfaces; a crankshaft configured for installation within the crank frame; a plurality of crossheads, each configured to be attached to the crankshaft via a connecting rod in a one-to-one relationship; a plurality of crosshead frames, each crosshead frame configured to house a corresponding crosshead and at least a portion of the corresponding connecting rod; a plurality of first stay rods, each first stay rod configured to extend through the crosshead frames and the front and rear surfaces of the crank frame; and a plurality of second stay rods, each second stay rod configured to extend through the crosshead frames but not the crank frame, wherein the plurality of second stay rods are configured for attachment to a fluid end assembly; and a plurality of outer sleeves, wherein each outer sleeve is configured to be disposed around a corresponding second stay rod. 2 . The kit of claim 1 , further comprising a central support plate, the central support plate configured to be positioned between the crank frame and the plurality of crosshead frames, wherein the central support plate defines an aperture for each of the plurality of first stay rods. 3 . The kit of claim 2 , further comprising at least one front support plate, wherein the plurality of crosshead frames are configured to be positioned between the central support plate and the front support plate, wherein the front support plate defines an aperture for each of the plurality of first stay rods. 4 . The kit of claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of inner sleeves, each inner sleeve configured to be disposed around a corresponding second stay rod when the second stay rod is disposed within at least a portion of the crosshead frames. 5 . A kit comprising: a crank frame of single-piece construction, having opposed front and rear surfaces; a crankshaft configured for installation within the crank frame; a plurality of crossheads, each configured to be attached to the crankshaft via a connecting rod in a one-to-one relationship; a plurality of crosshead frames, each crosshead frame configured to house a corresponding crosshead and at least a portion of the corresponding connecting rod; a plurality of first stay rods, each first stay rod configured to extend through a corresponding one of the crosshead frames and the front and rear surfaces of the crank frame; and a plurality of second stay rods, each second stay rod configured to extend through a corresponding one of the crosshead frames but not the crank frame, wherein the plurality of second stay rods are configured for attachment to a fluid end assembly; and a central support plate, the central support plate configured to be positioned between the crank frame and the plurality of crosshead frames, wherein the central support plate defines an aperture for each of the plurality of first stay rods; and at least one front support plate, wherein the plurality of crosshead frames are configured to be positioned between the central support plate and the front support plate, wherein the front support plate defines an aperture for each of the plurality of first stay rods. 6 . An assembly, comprising: the kit of claim 5 , wherein: the central support plate is positioned between the crank frame and the plurality of crosshead frames; the rear support plate is positioned against the rear surface of the crank frame; the at least one front support plate is positioned such that the plurality of crosshead frames are positioned between the central support plate and the front support plate; and each of the plurality of first stay rods is disposed through the front support plate, central support plate, rear support plate, crank frame, and a selected one of the plurality of crosshead frames. 7 . The assembly of claim 6 , further comprising a plurality of outer sleeves, each outer sleeve disposed around a corresponding second stay rod, wherein the plurality of outer sleeves are positioned between a front surface of the crosshead frames and a rear surface of the fluid end assembly. 8 . The assembly of claim 7 , further comprising a plurality of inner sleeves, each inner sleeve disposed around a corresponding second stay rod and positioned within at least a portion of a selected one of the crosshead frames. 9 . The assembly of claim 6 , further comprising a plurality of pony rods, each of the plurality of pony rods configured to attach to a corresponding connecting rod in a one-to-one relationship, wherein each pony rod is at least partially disposed within the crosshead frames. 10 . The assembly of claim 6 , further comprising a drive section configured for attachment to the crank frame and engaging the crankshaft. 11 . A reciprocating pump assembly, comprising: the assembly of claim 6 ; and a fluid end assembly attached to the plurality of second stay rods. 12 . An assembly, comprising: the kit of claim 1 , wherein: the crankshaft is installed within the crank frame; the plurality of crossheads are attached to the crankshaft via the corresponding connecting rod; each of the plurality of crosshead frames houses a corresponding crosshead and at least a portion of the corresponding connecting rod; and the plurality of first stay rods extend through a selected one of the crosshead frames and the front and rear surfaces of the crank frame. 13 . The assembly of claim 12 , each second stay rod extending through one of the plurality of the crosshead frames but not the crank frame. 14 . A reciprocating pump comprising: the assembly of claim 13 ; and a fluid end attached to the plurality of second stay rods. 15 . The reciprocating pump of claim 14 further comprising a plurality of plungers, wherein each of the plurality of plungers is driven by a corresponding one of the plurality of crossheads, and wherein each of the plurality of plungers is disposed within a corresponding bore formed in the fluid end.
