Fused cast refractory product including, as weight percentages on the basis of the oxides and for a total of 100%: ZrO 2 : balance to 100%, Hf 2 O: <5%, SiO 2 : 8.1% to 12.0%, B 2 O 3 : 0.20% to 0.90%, Na 2 O+K 2 O: 0.40% to 0.80%, Al 2 O 3 : 0.3% to 2.0%, Y 2 O 3 : <2.0%, Fe 2 O 3 +TiO 2 : <0.6%, and other species: <1.5%.

First claim

The invention claimed is: 1 . A glass melting furnace comprising a block positioned in the superstructure and made of a fused cast refractory product comprising, as weight percentages on the basis of the oxides and for a total of 100%: ZrO 2 : balance to 100% Hf 2 O: <5% SiO 2 :  8.1% to 12.0% B 2 O 3 : 0.20% to 0.90 % Na 2 O + K 2 O: 0.40% to 0.80% Al 2 O 3 :  0.3% to 2.0% Y 2 O 3 : <2.0% Fe 2 O 3 + TiO 2 : <0.6% other species: <1.5%. 2 . The glass melting furnace as claimed in claim 1 , wherein, in the fused cast refractory product: 83.0% < ZrO 2 + HfO 2 < 92.0%; and/or 8.4% < SiO 2 < 11.5%; and/or 0.25% < B 2 O 3 < 0.75%; and/or 0.45% < Na 2 O + K 2 O < 0.75%; and/or 0.6% < Al 2 O 3 < 1.9%; and/or 0.5% < Y 2 O 3 < 1.9%; and/or Fe 2 O 3 + TiO 2 < 0.4%; and/or other species < 1.2%. 3 . The glass melting furnace as claimed in claim 2 , wherein, in the fused cast refractory product: 84.0% < ZrO 2 + HfO 2 < 90.0%; and/or 8.8% < SiO 2 < 11.0%; and/or 0.40% < B 2 O 3 < 0.70%; and/or Na 2 O + K 2 O < 0.65%; and/or 0.8% < Al 2 O 3 < 1.7%; and/or 0.7% < Y 2 O 3 < 1.7%; and/or Fe 2 O 3 + TiO 2 < 0.3%; and/or other species < 1.0%. 4 . The glass melting furnace as claimed in claim 3 , wherein, in the fused cast refractory product: 85.0% < ZrO 2 + HfO 2 < 90.0%; and/or 9.1% < SiO 2 < 10.8%; and/or B 2 O 3 < 0.60%; and/or 0.9% < Al 2 O 3 ; and/or 1.0% < Y 2 O 3 < 1.6%; and/or Fe 2 O 3 + TiO 2 < 0.2%; and/or species other than ZrO 2 , HfO 2 , SiO 2 , Y 2 O 3 , B 2 O 3 , Al 2 O 3 , Na 2 O, K 2 O, TiO 2 and Fe 2 O 3 : < 0.5%. 5 . The glass melting furnace as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the fused cast refractory product comprises, as weight percentages on the basis of the oxides: SiO 2 :  8.5% to 11.0% B 2 O 3 : 0.30% to 0.80% Na 2 O + K 2 O: 0.40% to 0.70% Al 2 O 3 :  0.6% to 2.0%. 6 . The glass melting furnace as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the fused cast refractory product comprises, as weight percentages on the basis of the oxides: SiO 2 :  8.5% to 10.8% B 2 O 3 : 0.30% to 0.70% Na 2 O + K 2 O: 0.40% to 0.70% Al 2 O 3 :  1.0% to 1.8%. 7 . The glass melting furnace as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the fused cast refractory product comprises, as weight percentages on the basis of the oxides: SiO 2 :  9.1% to 11.0% B 2 O 3 : 0.30% to 0.70% Na 2 O + K 2 O: 0.40% to 0.70% Al 2 O 3 :  1.1% to 1.8%.
