A display device includes a first substrate including a first substrate, a first connection electrode disposed on the first substrate, and connected to a first transistor, a first spacer disposed on the first connection electrode, and including a conductive material, a first light emitting element disposed on the first spacer, and a second light emitting element disposed on the first substrate, and connected to a second transistor.

What is claimed is: 1 . A display device, comprising: a first substrate including a first transistor and a second transistor; a second substrate on the first substrate; a first connection electrode disposed on the first substrate, and connected to the first transistor; a first support disposed on the first connection electrode, and including a conductive material, the first support having a trapezoidal shape in cross-section with a bottom portion of the support wider than a top portion of the first support; a first light emitting element disposed on the first support in a first elevational plane; and a second light emitting element disposed on the first substrate in a second elevational plane different from the first elevational plane, the second light emitting element comprising an upper electrode and a lower electrode connected to the second transistor; a pixel defining layer disposed on the first substrate and including: a first opening in which the first connection electrode is disposed, and a second opening in which the second light emitting element is disposed such that an upper portion of the first connection electrode and an upper portion of the upper electrode of the second light emitting element are at a same level, wherein the bottom portion of the first support directly contacts the first connection electrode, and the top portion of the first support directly contacts the first light emitting element, the first light emitting element is disposed on the second substrate and comprises a first upper electrode, the second light emitting element disposed on the first substrate comprises a second upper electrode different from the first upper electrode, an area between the first upper electrode and the second upper electrode is defined at least in part by the first support, and the first support is disposed on the pixel defining layer. 2 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the first light emitting element comprises: a lower electrode disposed on the first support; an intermediate layer disposed on the lower electrode; and the upper electrode disposed on the intermediate layer. 3 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the first substrate further comprises a third transistor connected to a third light emitting element disposed on the first substrate, and the pixel defining layer comprises an opening in which the third light emitting element is disposed. 4 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the first support comprises a spacer. 5 . The display device of claim 3 , wherein the first to third light emitting elements emit light of different colors and each of the second light emitting element and the third light emitting element comprises: a lower electrode disposed on the first substrate; an intermediate layer disposed on the lower electrode; and the upper electrode disposed on the intermediate layer. 6 . The display device of claim 3 , wherein the first to third light emitting elements are of a top emission type. 7 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the first connection electrode and the first light emitting element are electrically connected to each other via the first support. 8 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein the first substrate further comprises a third transistor connected to a second connection electrode disposed on the first substrate, a second support disposed on the second connection electrode and including a conductive material, and a third light emitting element disposed on the second support, the second support having a trapezoidal shape in cross-section with a bottom portion of the second support wider than a top portion of the second support. 9 . The display device of claim 8 , wherein the first substrate further comprises a fourth transistor connected to a fourth light emitting element disposed on the first substrate. 10 . The display device of claim 9 , wherein the first light emitting element and the third light emitting element are disposed in a first elevational plane and spaced apart from each other by the second light emitting element, and the second light emitting element and the fourth light emitting element are disposed in a second elevational plane different from the first elevational plane, and spaced apart from each other by the third light emitting element. 11 . The display device of claim 9 , wherein the first light emitting element and the third light emitting element emit light of substantially the same color, and the first light emitting element, the second light emitting element, and the fourth light emitting element emit light of different color from each other. 12 . The display device of claim 9 , wherein the first to fourth light emitting elements are of a top emission type. 13 . A display device, comprising: a first substrate including a first transistor, a second transistor, and a third transistor; a second substrate on the first substrate; a first connection electrode disposed directly on the first substrate, and connected to the first transistor; a first support disposed on the first connection electrode, and including a conductive material, the first support having a trapezoidal shape in cross-section with a bottom portion of the first support wider than a top portion of the first support; a first light emitting element disposed on the first support in a first elevational plane; a second connection electrode disposed on the first substrate, and connected to the second transistor; a second support disposed on the second connection electrode, and including a conductive material, the second support having a trapezoidal shape in cross-section with a bottom portion of the second support wider than a top portion of the second support; a second light emitting element disposed on the second support; a third light emitting element disposed on the first substrate in a second elevational plane different from the first elevational plane, the third light emitting element comprising an upper electrode and a lower electrode connected to the third transistor; and a pixel defining layer disposed on the first substrate and including: a first opening in which the first connection electrode is disposed, a second opening in which the second connection electrode is disposed, and a third opening in which the third light emitting element is disposed such that at least one of an upper portion of the first connection electrode and an upper portion of the second connection electrode is at a same level as an upper portion of the upper electrode of the third light emitting element, wherein the bottom portion of the first support directly contacts the first connection electrode, and the top portion of the first support directly contacts the second light emitting element, the bottom portion of the second support directly contacts the second connection electrode, and the top portion of the second support directly contacts the second light emitting element, the first light emitting element and the second light emitting element are disposed on the second substrate and comprise a first upper electrode, the third light emitting element disposed on the first substrate comprises a second upper electrode different from the first upper electrode, an area between the first upper electrode and the second upper electrode is defined at least in part by the first support and the second support, and the first support and the second support are disposed on the pixel defining layer. 14 . The display device of claim 13 , wherein the first and second supports comprise first and second spacers, respectively. 1
