Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A user equipment (UE) is described. The UE includes receiving circuitry configured to receive downlink control information (DCI) for uplink transmission with uplink support of non-terrestrial network (NTN). The DCI includes a time domain resource assignment field The UE also includes a processor. The processor is configured to determine a resource allocation based on the DCI with the time domain resource assignment field.

First claim

What is claimed is: 1 . A user equipment (UE) that communicates with a base station apparatus, the UE comprising: receiving circuitry configured to: receive a first radio resource control (RRC) message including first information used for indicating that the UE supports use of 32 Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) processes; receive a second RRC message different from the first RRC message; and receive downlink control information (DCI), wherein when the DCI has a first DCI format, the UE determines that a first HARQ process number (HPN) field included in the first DCI format has a bit length of 4, when (i) the DCI has a second DCI format different from the first DCI format and (ii) the second RRC message includes second information, the UE determines that a second HPN field of the second DCI format has a bit length of 5, and when the DCI has the second DCI format and the second RRC message does not include the second information, the UE determines that the second HPN field of the second DCI format has a bit length of any one of 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4. 2 . A base station apparatus that communicates with a user equipment (UE), the base station apparatus comprising: transmitting circuitry configured to: transmit a first radio resource control (RRC) message including first information used for indicating that the UE supports use of 32 Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) processes; transmit a second RRC message different from the first RRC message; and transmit downlink control information (DCI), wherein when the DCI has a first DCI format, the UE determines that a first HARQ process number (HPN) field included in the first DCI format has a bit length of 4, when (i) the DCI has a second DCI format different from the first DCI format and (ii) the second RRC message includes second information, the UE determines that a second HPN field of the second DCI format has a bit length of 5, and when the DCI has the second DCI format and the second RRC message does not include the second information, the UE determines that the second HPN field of the second DCI format has a bit length of any one of 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4. 3 . A communication method performed by a user equipment (UE) that communicates with a base station apparatus, the communication method comprising: receiving a first radio resource control (RRC) message including first information used for indicating that the UE supports use of 32 Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) processes; receiving a second RRC message different from the first RRC message; and receiving downlink control information (DCI), wherein when the DCI has a first DCI format, the UE determines that a first HARQ process number (HPN) field included in the first DCI format has a bit length of 4, when (i) the DCI has a second DCI format different from the first DCI format and (ii) the second RRC message includes second information, the UE determines that a second HPN field of the second DCI format has a bit length of 5, and when the DCI has the second DCI format and the second RRC message does not include the second information, the UE determines that the second HPN field of the second DCI format has a bit length of any one of 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4.
