Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A method of providing targeted content across user channels includes receiving a plurality of device activity events on a user device, storing the received plurality of device activity events, creating an audience population based on the stored device activity events, determining links for additional secondary user devices based on the user device, creating a cross-channel advertising campaign targeting the determined audience population, and running the cross-channel advertising campaign based on the device activity and the determined additional secondary user devices.

What is claimed is: 1 . A method of providing electronic content across user channels, the method comprising: creating, by a synchronizing server, a cross-channel electronic content campaign comprising interactive electronic content determined based on stored device activity events occurring on a primary user device associated with a user; receiving, by the synchronizing server, a user request for a web page from a publisher of the cross-channel electronic campaign; in response to the user request, setting, by the primary user device, a cookie on the primary user device, the cookie containing an advertising identifier of a second user device that is cross-referenced through a unique ID of the user to the primary user device; running, by the synchronizing server, the cross-channel electronic content campaign by transmitting the determined electronic content of the cross-channel electronic content campaign to the secondary user device associated with the user through the unique ID associated with the cookie, such that the interactive electronic content is displayed on the secondary user device when a call received from an originator of the determined electronic content relates to confirming a preexisting appointment with the originator or scheduling a delivery with the originator; and transmitting to the originator of the electronic content, by the synchronizing server, information provided by the user based on the user interacting with the displayed electronic content, the interaction comprising scheduling or confirming an appointment. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the determined electronic content is displayed on a caller ID screen of a user's device. 3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the determined electronic content comprises one or more of a textual message, graphical elements, and user interface elements allowing the user to convey information to the originator of the determined electronic content. 4 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the determined electronic content is sent in connection to a previous transaction between the user and the originator of the determined electronic content. 5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the determined electronic content is configured to accept a response other than a voice communication from the user of the secondary user device. 6 . The method of claim 1 , the method further comprising: creating a device activity campaign; and running the device activity campaign on the primary user device. 7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the device activity campaign is run on a cross-channel event producer application on the primary user device. 8 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a method of providing electronic content across user channels, the method comprising: creating, by a synchronizing server, a cross-channel electronic content campaign comprising interactive electronic content determined based on stored device activity events occurring on a primary user device associated with a user; receiving, by the synchronizing server, a user request for a web page from a publisher of the cross-channel electronic campaign; in response to the user request, setting, by the primary user device, a cookie on the primary user device, the cookie containing an advertising identifier of a second user device that is cross-referenced through a unique ID of the user to the primary user device; running, by the synchronizing server, the cross-channel electronic content campaign by transmitting the determined electronic content of the cross-channel electronic content campaign to the secondary user device associated with the user through the unique ID associated with the cookie, such that the interactive electronic content is displayed on the secondary user device when a call received from an originator of the determined electronic content relates to confirming a preexisting appointment with the originator or scheduling a delivery with the originator; and transmitting to the originator of the electronic content, by the synchronizing server, information provided by the user based on the user interacting with the displayed electronic content, the interaction comprising scheduling or confirming an appointment. 9 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 8 , wherein determined electronic content is displayed on a caller ID screen of a user's device. 10 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the determined electronic content comprises one or more of a textual message, graphical elements, and user interface elements allowing the user to convey information to the originator of the determined electronic content. 11 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the determined electronic content is sent in connection to a previous transaction between the user and the originator of the determined electronic content. 12 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the determined electronic content is configured to accept a response other than a voice communication from the user of the secondary user device. 13 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 8 , the method further comprising: creating a device activity campaign; and running the device activity campaign on the primary user device. 14 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 13 , wherein the device activity campaign is run on a cross-channel event producer application on the primary user device. 15 . A computer system for providing electronic content across user channels, the computer system comprising: a memory having processor-readable instructions stored therein; and a processor configured to access the memory and execute the processor-readable instructions, which when executed by the processor configures the processor to perform a plurality of functions, including functions to: create a cross-channel electronic content campaign comprising interactive electronic content determined based on stored device activity events occurring on a primary user device associated with a user; receive, by a synchronizing server, a user request for a web page from a publisher of the cross-channel electronic campaign; in response to the user request, set, by the primary user device, a cookie on the primary user device, the cookie containing an advertising identifier of a second user device that is cross-referenced through a unique ID of the user to the primary user device; run the cross-channel electronic content campaign by transmitting the determined electronic content of the cross-channel electronic content campaign to the secondary user device associated with the user through the unique ID associated with the cookie, such that the interactive electronic content is displayed on the secondary user device when a call received from an originator of the determined electronic content relates to confirming a preexisting appointment with the originator or scheduling a delivery with the originator; and transmitting to the originator of the electronic content, information provided by the user based on the user interacting with the displayed electronic content, the interaction comprising scheduling or confirming an appointment. 16 . The computer system of claim 15 , wherein the determined electronic content is displayed on a caller ID screen of a user's device. 17 . The computer system of claim 16 , wherein the determined electronic content comprises one or more of a textual message, graphical elements, and user interface
