The invention claimed is: 1 . A method for preparing a bundle-type carbon nanotube, comprising: preparing a mixture comprising an organic acid and a vanadium-based compound in a molar ratio of 1:(1 to 30); preparing a catalyst precursor comprising the mixture and a cobalt-based compound; performing first thermal treatment of aluminum hydroxide to prepare a support; supporting the catalyst precursor in the support and performing second thermal treatment under a pressure of 0.1 to 2 above atmospheric pressure bar to prepare a supported catalyst; and reacting the supported catalyst with a carbon-based compound. 2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the preparation of a catalyst precursor comprises preparing a catalyst precursor comprising the mixture and a cobalt precursor so as to have a molar ratio of vanadium and cobalt of 1:(1 to 100). 3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the organic acid is citric acid.
