Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

The present invention is a paper sheet transport system including: an air blowing device that generates an air flow for transporting paper sheets; a transport device that transports paper sheets with the air flow; and a control device that controls the air blowing device, and the control device includes a measuring unit that measures the speed of paper sheets on the transport device, and an adjusting unit that adjusts the air flow according to a result of the measurement. The control device includes a detecting unit that detects arrival of paper sheets at a deceleration region, and, when paper sheets in the deceleration region are faster than a specific speed, the adjusting unit causes the air blowing device to generate an air flow in an opposite direction to that of an air flow for transporting the paper sheets.

The invention claimed is: 1 . A paper sheet transport system comprising: an air blowing device that generates an air flow; a transport device that transports paper sheets with the air flow; and a control device that controls the air blowing device, wherein the transport device includes a transport path where paper sheets are transports, and a transport body that moves in the transport path by the air flow, and moves with the paper sheets after the transport body reaches the paper sheets in a first area in the middle of the transport route, the control device includes a detecting unit that detects the transport body reaches a second area from the first area, a measuring unit that measures a speed of the transport body in the first area and a speed of the transport body in the second area, and an adjusting unit that adjusts the air flow according to the speed of the transport body in the first area and causes the air blowing device to generate an air flow in a direction opposite to an air flow for transporting the transport body when the transport body in the second area moves faster than a specific speed. 2 . The paper sheet transport system according to claim 1 , wherein the adjusting unit stops the air flow when the transport body in the second area is at a predetermined speed equal to or lower than the specific speed. 3 . The paper sheet transport system according to claim 1 , comprising a setting unit that sets a reference intensity of the air flow by moving the transport body during a period when there are no paper sheets on the transport path. 4 . A control device that controls an air blowing device that generates an air flow for transporting paper sheets with a transport device, the transport device comprising: a transport path where paper sheets are transports, and a transport body that moves in the transport path by the air flow, and moves with the paper sheets after the transport body reaches the paper sheets in a first area in the middle of the transport route, and the control device comprising: a detecting unit that detects the transport body reaches a second area from the first area, a measuring unit that measures a speed of the transport body in the first area and a speed of the transport body in the second area, and an adjusting unit that adjusts the air flow according to the speed of the transport body in the first area and causes the air blowing device to generate an air flow in a direction opposite to an air flow for transporting the transport body when the transport body in the second area moves faster than a specific speed. 5 . A control method of an air blowing device that generates an air flow for transporting paper sheets with a transport device, the transport device comprising: a transport path where paper sheets are transports, and a transport body that moves in the transport path by the air flow, and moves with the paper sheets after the transport body reaches the paper sheets in a first area in the middle of the transport route, and the control method comprising: a step of measuring a speed of the transport body in the first area, a step of adjusting the air flow according to the speed of the transport body in the first area a step of detecting that the transport body reaches the second area from the first area, a step of measuring a speed of the transport body in the second area, and, a step of causing the air blowing device to generate an air flow in a direction opposite to an air flow for transporting the transport body when the transport body in the second area moves faster than a specific speed. 6 . A non-transitory storage medium storing a program for controlling an air blowing device that generates an air flow for transporting paper sheets with a transport device, the transport device comprising: a transport path where paper sheets are transports, and a transport body that moves in the transport path by the air flow, and moves with the paper sheets after the transport body reaches the paper sheets in a first area in the middle of the transport route, and wherein the program causing a computer to execute: a step of measuring a speed of the transport body in the first area, a step of adjusting the air flow according to the speed of the transport body in the first area a step of detecting that the transport body reaches the second area from the first area, a step of measuring a speed of the transport body in the second area, and, a step of causing the air blowing device to generate an air flow in a direction opposite to an air flow for transporting the transport body when the transport body in the second area moves faster than a specific speed.
