What is claimed is: 1 . A stand-alone ice making appliance defining a vertical direction, a lateral direction, and a transverse direction, wherein the vertical direction, the lateral direction, and the transverse direction are mutually perpendicular, comprising: a casing; a first water tank disposed within the casing; a second water tank in fluid communication with the first water tank; a pump disposed within the casing, the pump in fluid communication with the first water tank and the second water tank, the pump operable to flow water from the first water tank to the second water tank; an ice maker disposed within the casing, the ice maker comprising an inlet; and a fitting comprising a first port, a second port below the first port in the vertical direction, and a third port between the first and second ports in the vertical direction, wherein the first port of the fitting is in fluid communication with the second water tank, the second port of the fitting is in fluid communication with the first water tank, and the third port of the fitting is in fluid communication with the inlet of the ice maker, wherein the third port of the fitting is positioned above the inlet of the ice maker in the vertical direction, and wherein the first port of the fitting is positioned below the second water tank, whereby air bubbles flowing towards the ice maker from the pump are reduced. 2 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 1 , wherein the fitting is a T-fitting. 3 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 1 , wherein the second water tank is disposed within the casing. 4 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 3 , wherein the first water tank is disposed at a bottom portion of the casing. 5 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 1 , wherein the second water tank is positioned above, in the vertical direction, the inlet of the ice maker. 6 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 5 , wherein, when making ice, gravity pushes water from the second water tank through the fitting and into the inlet of the ice maker. 7 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 1 , wherein the third port of the fitting is perpendicular to the vertical direction. 8 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 1 , wherein the first port and second port of the fitting are colinear and the third port is perpendicular to the first port and the second port. 9 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 1 , further comprising a flexible tubing conduit, the flexible tubing conduit extending from the third port of the fitting to the inlet of the ice maker. 10 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 1 , further comprising an auger disposed in the ice maker, the auger configured to lift partially frozen water through the ice maker. 11 . A stand-alone ice making appliance defining a vertical direction, a lateral direction, and a transverse direction, wherein the vertical direction, the lateral direction, and the transverse direction are mutually perpendicular, comprising: a casing; a first water tank disposed within the casing; a second water tank in fluid communication with the first water tank; a pump disposed within the casing, the pump in fluid communication with the first water tank and the second water tank, the pump operable to flow water from the first water tank to the second water tank; an ice maker disposed within the casing, the ice maker comprising an inlet; an auger disposed in the ice maker, the auger configured to lift partially frozen water through the ice maker; and a fitting comprising a first port, a second port below the first port in the vertical direction, and a third port between the first and second ports in the vertical direction, wherein the first port of the fitting is in fluid communication with the second water tank, the second port of the fitting is in fluid communication with the first water tank, and the third port of the fitting is in fluid communication with the inlet of the ice maker, wherein the third port of the fitting is positioned above the inlet of the ice maker in the vertical direction, and wherein the first port of the fitting is positioned below the second water tank, whereby air bubbles flowing towards the ice maker from the pump are reduced. 12 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 11 , wherein the fitting is a T-fitting. 13 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 11 , wherein the second water tank is disposed within the casing. 14 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 13 , wherein the first water tank is disposed at a bottom portion of the casing. 15 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 11 , wherein the second water tank is positioned above, in the vertical direction, the inlet of the ice maker. 16 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 15 , wherein, when making ice, gravity pushes water from the second water tank through the fitting and into the inlet of the ice maker. 17 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 11 , wherein the third port of the fitting is perpendicular to the vertical direction. 18 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 11 , wherein the first port and second port of the fitting are colinear and the third port is perpendicular to the first port and the second port. 19 . The stand-alone ice making appliance of claim 11 , further comprising a flexible tubing conduit, the flexible tubing conduit extending from the third port of the fitting to the inlet of the ice maker.
