The invention claimed is: 1 . A conveying roller that is rotated with power, thereby applying force to an object on the conveying roller to move the object, the conveying roller comprising: a large-diameter portion and a small-diameter portion, the large-diameter portion comprising: a core member; and a deformation unit elastically deformable and provided around the core member, the deformation unit comprising: a cavity; and an annular part that comes into contact with the object, the cavity being provided between the annular part and the core member to allow the annular part to be elastically deformable. 2 . The conveying roller according to claim 1 , comprising a plurality of roller pieces, the roller piece on the large-diameter portion including: a shaft portion; and the deformation unit, the deformation unit being provided on the shaft portion. 3 . A conveyor device comprising conveying rollers arranged in parallel, the conveyor device rotating the conveying rollers with power, thereby applying force to an object on the conveying rollers to move the object, wherein the conveying rollers include: a first conveying roller; and a second conveying roller adjacent to the first conveying roller, wherein the first conveying roller includes: a first large-diameter portion; and a first small-diameter portion, and the second conveying roller includes: a second large-diameter portion; and a second small-diameter portion, the first large-diameter portion being located at a position corresponding to the second small-diameter portion, the first small-diameter portion being located at a position corresponding to the second large-diameter portion, and wherein an inter-shaft distance between the first and the second conveying rollers is shorter than a diameter of the first large-diameter portion and that of the second large-diameter portion, the first and second large-diameter portions each comprising: a core member; and a deformation unit provided around the core member, the deformation unit comprising: a cavity; and an annular part that comes into contact with the object, the cavity being provided between the annular part and the core member to allow the deformation unit to be elastically deformable. 4 . The conveying roller according to claim 1 , including in a shaft direction: a force-applying region contributing to conveyance of the object; and a void region not contributing to conveyance of the object. 5 . The conveying roller according to claim 1 , comprising a plurality of roller pieces, the roller pieces arranged to define: a force-applying region contributing to conveyance of the object; and a void region not contributing to conveyance of the object. 6 . A conveyor device including multiple conveying rollers according to claim 1 arranged in parallel. 7 . The conveyor device according to claim 6 , wherein the conveyor device includes: a first conveying roller; and a second conveying roller adjacent to the first conveying roller, wherein the first conveying roller includes: a first large-diameter portion; and a first small-diameter portion, and the second conveying roller includes: a second large-diameter portion; and a second small-diameter portion, the first large-diameter portion being located at a position corresponding to the second small-diameter portion, the first small-diameter portion being located at a position corresponding to the second large-diameter portion, and wherein an inter-shaft distance between the first and the second conveying rollers is shorter than a diameter of the first large-diameter portion and that of the second large-diameter portion. 8 . An inclined conveyor device installed in an inclined posture, comprising: an intermediate region; and at least one of an upper-end region and a lower-end region, wherein the conveyor device according to claim 6 is provided in the at least one of the upper-end region and the lower-end region.
