The invention claimed is: 1 . An aerosol generating article comprising: a first segment arranged at an upstream end portion to be inserted into an aerosol generating device; a second segment arranged at a downstream end portion to contact a user's mouth; and a third segment arranged between the first segment and the second segment, and comprising a cooling element, wherein the first segment comprises: a first filter portion; a second filter portion; and a medium portion arranged between the first filter portion and the second filter portion, and comprising an aerosol generating substrate and a pH adjuster, wherein the first segment comprises a configuration in which an outer surface of the medium portion is shaped to be enclosed by a cylindrical heater when engaged with an aerosol generating device, and wherein the medium portion of the first segment is configured to, when heated at 120° C. or lower, discharge an aerosol containing 20 μg or more of nicotine, per puff, wherein lengths of the first filter portion, the medium portion, and the second filter portion are in a range of 5 mm to 10 mm, and wherein lengths of the second segment and the third segment are in a range of 10 mm to 20 mm. 2 . The aerosol generating article of claim 1 , wherein the first filter portion, the medium portion, and the second filter portion are wrapped by a single wrapper. 3 . The aerosol generating article of claim 1 , wherein the pH adjuster comprises potassium carbonate (K 2 CO 3 ). 4 . The aerosol generating article of claim 1 , wherein the medium portion further comprises a binder, and the binder comprises at least one of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and gum. 5 . The aerosol generating article of claim 1 , wherein a weight of the medium portion is in a range of 70 mg to 120 mg. 6 . The aerosol generating article of claim 1 , wherein the aerosol generating substrate of the medium portion comprises nicotine, and a weight of nicotine contained in the aerosol discharged from the medium portion after the medium portion is heated is 10% to 30% of a weight of nicotine in the medium portion before the medium portion is heated. 7 . The aerosol generating article of claim 1 , wherein, when the medium portion is heated at 120° C. or lower, the aerosol containing 20 μg to 40 μg of nicotine per puff is discharged during at least 10 consecutive puffs. 8 . An aerosol generating system comprising: an aerosol generating article; and an aerosol generating device configured to combine with the aerosol generating article, and comprising a heater configured to heat the aerosol generating article, wherein the aerosol generating article comprises: a first segment arranged at an upstream end portion to be inserted into the aerosol generating device; a second segment arranged at a downstream end portion to contact a user's mouth; and a third segment arranged between the first segment and the second segment, and comprising a cooling element, wherein the first segment comprises: a first filter portion; a second filter portion; and a medium portion arranged between the first filter portion and the second filter portion, comprising an aerosol generating substrate and a pH adjuster such that an aerosol containing 20 μg or more of nicotine is discharged per puff when the medium portion is heated at a temperature of 120° C. or lower, wherein the first segment is disposed so that an outer surface of the medium portion of the first segment is surrounded by a cylindrical heater when the first segment is inserted into the aerosol generating device, wherein the medium portion of the first segment is heated at 120° C. or lower by the cylindrical heater of the aerosol generating device, and the medium portion of the first segment discharges an aerosol containing 20 μg or more of nicotine, per puff, wherein lengths of the first filter portion, the medium portion, and the second filter portion are in a range of 5 mm to 10 mm, and wherein lengths of the second segment and the third segment are in a range of 10 mm to 20 mm. 9 . The aerosol generating system of claim 8 , wherein the heater is arranged to surround at least a portion of an outer surface of the medium portion when the aerosol generating article is inserted into the aerosol generating device.
