A cassette includes a printing tape roll being rotatable and into which a printing tape as a medium to be printed is wound, and an outer peripheral wall disposed on one side in a first direction relative to the printing tape roll. The first direction is a width direction of the printing tape. The outer peripheral wall includes a first side wall extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, a second side wall extending in a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and intersecting with the second direction, and a recess wall defining a recess extending from the second side wall toward one side in the second direction. The recess extends in the third direction on one side in the second direction further than the second side wall. At least a portion of the recess overlaps the printing tape roll in the first direction.

What is claimed is: 1 . A cassette comprising: a tape roll being rotatable about a rotation axis, the rotation axis extending in a first direction; a case comprising an outer peripheral wall, the outer peripheral wall extending in the first direction, the outer peripheral wall having a recess disposed at one side in the first direction relative to the tape roll; and a take-up spool being rotatable to take up an ink ribbon, the take-up spool separated from the tape roll in the first direction, wherein at least a portion of the recess overlaps the tape roll in the first direction. 2 . The cassette according to claim 1 , further comprising: a recess wall defining the recess, wherein the tape roll comprises a tape spool and a tape that is wound around the tape spool, and wherein at least a portion of the recess wall overlaps the tape spool in the first direction. 3 . The cassette according to claim 2 , wherein at least a portion of the recess overlaps the tape spool in the first direction. 4 . The cassette according to claim 1 , wherein, in a second direction that crosses the first direction, the rotation axis of the tape roll is located between one end of the recess and another end of the recess in the second direction. 5 . The cassette according to claim 4 , wherein the tape roll comprises a tape spool and a tape that is wound around the tape spool, and wherein, in the second direction, at least a portion of the tape spool is located between the one end of the recess and the another end of the recess in the second direction. 6 . The cassette according to claim 4 , further comprising: a first case accommodating therein the tape roll; and a second case disposed at the one side in the first direction relative to the first case, wherein the tape roll comprises a tape spool and a tape that is wound around the tape spool, wherein the second case has an outlet, the outlet being located between the one end of the recess and the another end of the recess in the second direction to discharge the tape to be fed from the tape roll from the second case toward the recess, and wherein the rotation axis of the tape roll is located between the outlet and the one end of the recess in the second direction. 7 . The cassette according to claim 6 , wherein the recess overlaps at least a portion of the first case in the first direction. 8 . The cassette according to claim 6 , wherein the recess is adjacent to the outlet. 9 . The cassette according to claim 1 , further comprising: a feed spool rotatable and disposed at the one side in the first direction relative to the tape roll, the feed spool around which the ink ribbon is wound, wherein at least a portion of the feed spool and at least a portion of the take-up spool overlap the tape roll in the first direction. 10 . The cassette according to claim 1 , wherein a distance from a center of the cassette to the rotation axis of the tape roll is less than a distance from the center of the cassette to the recess. 11 . A cassette comprising: a tape roll being rotatable about a rotation axis, the rotation axis extending in a first direction; a case comprising an outer peripheral wall, the outer peripheral wall extending in the first direction, the outer peripheral wall having a recess disposed at one side in the first direction relative to the tape roll; and a take-up spool being rotatable to take up an ink ribbon, the take-up spool separated from the tape roll in the first direction, wherein the tape roll is located at a first location in the first direction, and the recess is located at a second location that is separated from the first location in the first direction. 12 . The cassette according to claim 11 , wherein, in a second direction that crosses the first direction, the rotation axis of the tape roll is located between one end of the recess and another end of the recess in the second direction. 13 . The cassette according to claim 12 , wherein the tape roll comprises a tape spool and a tape that is wound around the tape spool, and wherein, in the second direction, at least a portion of the tape spool is located between the one end of the recess and the another end of the recess in the second direction. 14 . The cassette according to claim 12 , further comprising: a first case accommodating therein the tape roll; and a second case disposed at the one side in the first direction relative to the first case, wherein the tape roll comprises a tape spool and a tape that is wound around the tape spool, wherein the second case has an outlet, the outlet being located between the one end of the recess and the another end of the recess in the second direction to discharge the tape to be fed from the tape roll from the second case toward the recess, and wherein the rotation axis of the tape roll is located between the outlet and the one end of the recess in the second direction. 15 . The cassette according to claim 14 , wherein the recess is adjacent to the outlet. 16 . The cassette according to claim 11 , wherein a distance from a center of the cassette to the rotation axis of the tape roll is less than a distance from the center of the cassette to the recess.
