What is claimed is: 1 . A bed system comprising: a mattress having a mattress cover and an internal mattress portion, the mattress defining a first sleep area for a first user; a first temperature control system configured to decrease a temperature of a first portion of the first sleep area, the first temperature control system comprising: a first temperature controller; and a pad coupled to the first temperature controller, the pad configured to allow fluid to flow through the pad to cool the first portion of the first sleep area; and a second temperature control system configured to increase a temperature of a second portion of the first sleep area, the second temperature control system comprising: a heating unit; and a power source electrically connected to the heating unit to selectively power the heating unit, wherein the first portion and the second portion overlap each other at least partially. 2 . The bed system of claim 1 , wherein the mattress further defines a second sleep area separate from the first sleep area, the second sleep area for a second user; the first temperature control system is further configured to decrease a temperature of a first portion of one or both of the first and second sleep areas, the pad is further configured to allow fluid to flow through the pad to cool the first portion of one or both of the first and second sleep areas; and the second temperature control system configured to increase a temperature of a second portion of one or both of the first and second sleep areas. 3 . The bed system of claim 2 , wherein the first portion and the second portion are different areas of the first and second sleep areas, respectively. 4 . The bed system of claim 2 , wherein the second portion corresponds to a foot portion of the mattress. 5 . The bed system of claim 2 , wherein the internal mattress portion comprises a first fluid chamber corresponding to the first sleep area and a second fluid chamber corresponding to the second sleep area. 6 . The bed system of claim 2 , wherein the pad is positioned within the internal mattress portion. 7 . The bed system of claim 2 , wherein the heating unit is positioned within the mattress. 8 . The bed system of claim 2 , wherein the heating unit comprises a carbon-filled polymer material configured to transfer heat to one or both of the first and second sleep areas. 9 . The bed system of claim 2 , wherein the heating unit is configured to flex responsive to a movement of one or both of the first and second users. 10 . The bed system of claim 2 , wherein the heating unit comprises heating elements arranged to transmit heat evenly. 11 . A bed system comprising: a mattress having a mattress cover and an internal mattress portion defining an internal mattress volume, the mattress cover fully enclosing the internal mattress volume, the mattress cover defining a top surface, the mattress defining a first sleep area for a first user; a first temperature control system configured to decrease a temperature of a first portion of the first sleep area, the first temperature control system comprising: a first temperature controller; and a pad coupled to the first temperature controller, the pad configured to allow fluid to flow through the pad to cool the first portion of the first sleep area, wherein the pad is positioned on the top surface of the mattress cover; and a second temperature control system configured to increase a temperature of a second portion of the first sleep area, the second temperature control system comprising: a heating unit; and a power source electrically connected to the heating unit to selectively power the heating unit, wherein the first portion and the second portion overlap each other at least partially. 12 . A bed system comprising: a mattress having a mattress cover and an internal mattress portion, the mattress defining a first sleep area for a first user; a first temperature control system configured to decrease a temperature of a first portion of the first sleep area, the first temperature control system comprising: a first temperature controller; and a pad coupled to the first temperature controller, the pad configured to allow fluid to flow through the pad to cool the first portion of the first sleep area; and a second temperature control system configured to increase a temperature of a second portion of the first sleep area, the second temperature control system comprising: an envelope comprising an envelope top and an envelope bottom, the envelope top and the envelope bottom defining an opening configured to be opened and closed; a heating unit positioned within the envelope, the heating unit configured to be inserted and removed through the opening; and a power source electrically connected to the heating unit to selectively power the heating unit, wherein the heating unit is positioned within an envelope. 13 . The bed system of claim 12 , wherein the envelope is positioned between a top surface of the internal mattress portion and the mattress cover. 14 . The bed system of claim 12 , wherein the envelope comprises a mesh material top and a fire resistant material bottom. 15 . The bed system of claim 14 , further comprising a fire resistant cap positioned between the envelope and the mattress cover. 16 . The bed system of claim 12 , wherein the envelope comprises a first envelope positioned in the first sleep area and a second envelope positioned in a second sleep area for a second user separate from the first sleep area, and the heating unit comprises a first heating unit positioned in the first envelope and a second heating unit positioned in the second envelope. 17 . The bed system of claim 16 , further comprising electrical connectors connecting the first heating unit and the second heating unit to the power source. 18 . The bed system of claim 17 , wherein the electrical connectors are routed from the first heating unit and the second heating unit to the power source through the internal mattress portion. 19 . The bed system of claim 17 , wherein the electrical connectors extend from the first heating unit and the second heating unit to the power source along sides of the internal mattress portion. 20 . The bed system of claim 19 , wherein the electrical connectors extend at least partially into the internal mattress portion. 21 . A bed system comprising: a mattress having a mattress cover and an internal mattress portion, the mattress defining a first sleep area for a first user and a second sleep area separate from the first sleep area for a second user; a first temperature control system configured to decrease a temperature of a first portion of one or both of the first and second sleep areas, the first temperature control system comprising: a first temperature controller; and a pad coupled to the first temperature controller, the pad configured to allow fluid to flow through the pad to cool the first portion of one or both of the first and second sleep areas; and a second temperature control system configured to increase a temperature of a second portion of one or both of the first and second sleep areas, the second temperature control system comprising: a first heating unit and a second heating unit; a first envelope and a second envelope, the first heating unit positioned within the first envelope, the second heating unit positioned within the second envelope; and a power source electrically connected to the
