A display device includes a first display area and a second display area located on opposite sides of a display area. The display device includes first through third sub-pixels. The first through third sub-pixels are disposed in the first and second display areas. The first and second sub-pixels are arranged in a first column adjacent to a first boundary, and the third sub-pixels are arranged in a second column. The second and first sub-pixels are arranged in a third column adjacent to a second boundary, and the third sub-pixels are arranged in a fourth column. The third sub-pixels are arranged in a first column and a second column of the first sub-area. The first and second sub-pixels are arranged in a first column and a second column of the third sub-area. The first to third sub-pixels are not disposed in the second column of the first and third sub-areas.

What is claimed is: 1 . A display device including a display area, a first display area located in one side of the display area and including a first sub-area and a second sub-area, and a second display area located in an opposite side of the display area and including a third sub-area and a fourth sub-area, the display device comprising: a substrate; and a plurality of first sub-pixels, second sub-pixels, and third sub-pixels disposed in the display area, the first display area, and the second display area on the substrate, wherein the plurality of first and second sub-pixels are repeatedly arranged in a first column of the display area that is adjacent to a first boundary between the display area and the first sub-area, and the plurality of third sub-pixels are arranged in a second column of the display area, the plurality of second and first sub-pixels are repeatedly arranged in a third column of the display area that is adjacent to a second boundary between the display area and the third sub-area, and the plurality of third sub-pixels are arranged in a fourth column of the display area, the plurality of third sub-pixels disposed closest to the first boundary in the first display area constitute a first-first sub-pixel set, the plurality of third sub-pixels disposed closest to the second boundary in the second display area constitute a second-second sub-pixel set, and a distance between the first-first sub-pixel set and the second column of the display area is substantially equal to a distance between the second-second sub-pixel set and the fourth column of the display area. 2 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein a first-second sub-pixel set spaced apart from the first-first sub-pixel set in a direction from the display area to the first display area includes the plurality of second and first sub-pixels, a first-third sub-pixel set spaced apart from the first-second sub-pixel set in the direction from the display area to the first display area includes the plurality of third sub-pixels, and a first-fourth sub-pixel set spaced apart from the first-third sub-pixel set in the direction from the display area to the first display area includes the plurality of first and second sub-pixels. 3 . The display device of claim 2 , wherein sizes of the plurality of first to third sub-pixels disposed in the first and second display areas are greater than sizes of the plurality of first to third sub-pixels disposed in the display area, respectively. 4 . The display device of claim 2 , wherein a distance between the first-first sub-pixel set and the first-second sub-pixel set is smaller than a distance between the first-second sub-pixel set and the first-third sub-pixel set. 5 . The display device of claim 4 , wherein a distance between the first-third sub-pixel set and the first-fourth sub-pixel set is smaller than the distance between the first-second sub-pixel set and the first-third sub-pixel set. 6 . The display device of claim 5 , wherein a distance between the first-first sub-pixel set and the first-third sub-pixel set is substantially equal to a distance between the first-second sub-pixel set and the first-fourth sub-pixel set. 7 . The display device of claim 2 , wherein a distance between the first-first sub-pixel set and the first-second sub-pixel set is substantially equal to a distance between the first-second sub-pixel set and the first-third sub-pixel set. 8 . The display device of claim 7 , wherein a distance between the first-third sub-pixel set and the first-fourth sub-pixel set is substantially equal to the distance between the first-second sub-pixel set and the first-third sub-pixel set. 9 . The display device of claim 8 , wherein a distance between the first-first sub-pixel set and the first-third sub-pixel set is substantially equal to a distance between the first-second sub-pixel set and the first-fourth sub-pixel set. 10 . The display device of claim 1 , wherein a second-first sub-pixel set spaced apart from the second-second sub-pixel set in a direction from the second display area to the display area includes the plurality of first and second sub-pixels, a second-third sub-pixel set spaced apart from the second-second sub-pixel set in a direction from the display area to the second display area includes the plurality of second and first sub-pixels, and a second-fourth sub-pixel set spaced apart from the second-third sub-pixel set in the direction from the display area to the second display area includes the plurality of third sub-pixels. 11 . The display device of claim 10 , wherein sizes of the plurality of first to third sub-pixels disposed in the first and second display areas are greater than sizes of the plurality of first to third sub-pixels disposed in the display area, respectively. 12 . The display device of claim 10 , wherein a distance between the second-first sub-pixel set and the second-second sub-pixel set is smaller than a distance between the second-second sub-pixel set and the second-third sub-pixel set. 13 . The display device of claim 12 , wherein a distance between the second-third sub-pixel set and the second-fourth sub-pixel set is smaller than the distance between the second-second sub-pixel set and the second-third sub-pixel set. 14 . The display device of claim 13 , wherein a distance between the second-first sub-pixel set and the second-third sub-pixel set is substantially equal to a distance between the second-second sub-pixel set and the second-fourth sub-pixel set. 15 . The display device of claim 10 , wherein a distance between the second-first sub-pixel set and the second-second sub-pixel set is substantially equal to a distance between the second-second sub-pixel set and the second-third sub-pixel set. 16 . The display device of claim 15 , wherein a distance between the second-third sub-pixel set and the second-fourth sub-pixel set is substantially equal to the distance between the second-second sub-pixel set and the second-third sub-pixel set. 17 . The display device of claim 16 , wherein a distance between the second-first sub-pixel set and the second-third sub-pixel set is substantially equal to a distance between the second-second sub-pixel set and the second-fourth sub-pixel set. 18 . The display device of claim 1 , further comprising: a first circuit structure disposed in the second sub-area on the substrate; and a second circuit structure disposed in the fourth sub-area on the substrate. 19 . The display device of claim 1 , further comprising: a plurality of first, second, and third pixel circuits connected to the first to third sub-pixels disposed in the display area, the first display area, and the second display area, in which the plurality of first, second, and third pixel circuits are connected to the plurality of first to third sub-pixels, respectively, wherein the plurality of first to third pixel circuits connected to the plurality of first to third sub-pixels disposed in the second sub-area, respectively, are disposed in the first sub-area, and the plurality of first to third pixel circuits connected to the plurality of first to third sub-pixels disposed in the fourth sub-area, respectively, are disposed in the third sub-area. 20 . An electronic device comprising: the display device of claim 1 ; and a processor configured to generate image data for the display device to display an image based on the image data.
