Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

LBT adaptation, beam operation, and/or interference handling may be performed by wireless communication devices in NR above 52.6 GHZ. In an example, a wireless communications device may send information on a channel. The channel may comprise a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH), a Physical Downlink Shared Data Channel (PDSCH), or a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH). The wireless communications device may receive, from a user equipment (UE), one or more ready to receives (RTRs). The wireless communications device may determine, based on a number of consecutive RTRs of the one or more RTRs, a listen before talk (LBT) mode. The LBT mode may be associated with staying or switching to a no receiver assistance mode or staying or switching to a receiver assistance mode.

First claim

What is claimed is: 1 . A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), comprising a transceiver and one or more processors, configured to: receive, from a base station, downlink control information (DCI) indicating: a listen before talk (LBT) mode indication, an LBT sub-mode indication, a ready to receive (RTR) indication, and a plurality of thresholds, wherein each threshold of the plurality of thresholds is associated with a respective level of hidden node detection; perform, based on the LBT mode indication and the LBT sub-mode indication, a measurement; and on condition that the RTR indication indicates that an RTR is requested: determine, based on a threshold of the plurality of thresholds, a level of hidden node detection indicated by the measurement, and send an indication of the determined level of hidden node detection. 2 . The WTRU of claim 1 , wherein the determined level of hidden node detection comprises: no hidden node detection, light hidden node detection, moderate hidden node detection, or severe hidden node detection. 3 . The WTRU of claim 1 , wherein the LBT mode indication indicates whether LBT is to be performed. 4 . The WTRU of claim 1 , wherein the LBT sub-mode indication indicates: directional LBT with receiver assistance, directional LBT without receiver assistance, omni-directional LBT with receiver assistance, or omni-directional LBT without receiver assistance. 5 . The WTRU of claim 1 , wherein RTR indication indicates whether receiver assistance is requested. 6 . The WTRU of claim 1 , wherein the indication of the determined level of hidden node detection is sent via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). 7 . The WTRU of claim 1 , further configured to: receive, in response to the indication of the determined level of hidden node detection, from the base station, data. 8 . A method for use in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), the method comprising: receiving, from a base station, downlink control information (DCI) indicating: a listen before talk (LBT) mode indication, an LBT sub-mode indication, a ready to receive (RTR) indication, and a plurality of thresholds, wherein each threshold of the plurality of thresholds is associated with a respective level of hidden node detection; performing, based on the LBT mode indication and the LBT sub-mode indication, a measurement; and on condition that the RTR indication indicates that an RTR is requested: determining, based on a threshold of the plurality of thresholds, a level of hidden node detection indicated by the measurement, and sending an indication of the determined level of hidden node detection. 9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the determined level of hidden node detection comprises: no hidden node detection, light hidden node detection, moderate hidden node detection, or severe hidden node detection. 10 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the LBT mode indication indicates whether LBT is to be performed. 11 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the LBT sub-mode indication indicates: directional LBT with receiver assistance, directional LBT without receiver assistance, omni-directional LBT with receiver assistance, or omni-directional LBT without receiver assistance. 12 . The method of claim 8 , wherein RTR indication indicates whether receiver assistance is requested. 13 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the indication of the determined level of hidden node detection is transmitted via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). 14 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising: receiving, in response to the indication of the determined level of hidden node detection, from the base station, data. 15 . An apparatus, comprising a transceiver and one or more processors, configured to: transmit, to a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), downlink control information (DCI) indicating: a listen before talk (LBT) mode indication, an LBT sub-mode indication, a ready to receive (RTR) indication indicating that an RTR is requested, and a plurality of thresholds, wherein each threshold of the plurality of thresholds is associated with a respective level of hidden node detection; receive, from the WTRU, based on the LBT mode indication and the LBT sub-mode indication, an indication of a level of hidden node detection based on a threshold of the plurality of thresholds; and send, to the WTRU, in response to the indication of the determined level of hidden node detection, data. 16 . The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the determined level of hidden node detection comprises: no hidden node detection, light hidden node detection, moderate hidden node detection, or severe hidden node detection. 17 . The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the LBT mode indication indicates whether LBT is to be performed. 18 . The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the LBT sub-mode indication indicates: directional LBT with receiver assistance, directional LBT without receiver assistance, omni-directional LBT with receiver assistance, or omni-directional LBT without receiver assistance. 19 . The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein RTR indication indicates whether receiver assistance is requested. 20 . The apparatus of claim 15 , wherein the indication of the determined level of hidden node detection is received via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH).
