Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods of issuing certificates. One embodiment includes a non-transitory, computer-readable medium comprising computer executable instructions stored thereon, the computer executable instructions executable for receiving a certificate request from an online identity, wherein the certificate request validates a reputation of the online identity, analyzing the certificate request, based on the analysis, determining to issue a certificate, and issuing the certificate to the online identity.

What is claimed is: 1 . A system comprising: a processor; and memory coupled to the processor, the memory storing computer executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, perform a method for certifying an online identity, the method comprising: receiving a certificate request from the online identity for a certificate that validates a reputation of the online identity; in response to receiving the certificate request from the online identity: analyzing the certificate request to generate an overall result, wherein analyzing the certificate request to generate the overall result comprises: analyzing the certificate request to generate a plurality of results indicative of reputation, further comprising analyzing a content sample with a first model to assign a classification to the content sample, wherein the first model comprises a first machine learning model and wherein the plurality of results includes the classification; and processing the plurality of results using a second model to determine the overall result; based on the overall result, determining to issue the certificate; and issuing the certificate to the online identity. 2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the computer executable instructions are further executable for: using the certificate to engage in online interactions. 3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the certificate request comprises an entity name and wherein the plurality of results includes a result of analyzing the entity name against known actors. 4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the certificate request comprises an entity photo, wherein the plurality of results comprises a result of analyzing the entity photo, and wherein analyzing the entity photo comprises comparing the entity photo to a data source using image recognition. 5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the certificate request comprises a device address, wherein the plurality of results comprises a result of analyzing the device address against known device information. 6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the certificate request comprises the content sample and wherein the second model comprises a second machine learning model. 7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein analyzing the certificate request to generate the plurality of results comprises comparing information in the certificate request to one or more data sources comprising information corresponding to the online identity. 8 . A non-transitory, computer-readable medium storing computer executable instructions that are executable for: receiving a certificate request from an online identity for a certificate that validates a reputation of the online identity; in response to receiving the certificate request from the online identity: analyzing the certificate request to generate an overall result, wherein analyzing the certificate request to generate the overall result comprises: analyzing the certificate request to generate a plurality of results indicative of reputation, further comprising analyzing a content sample with a first model to assign a classification to the content sample, wherein the first model comprises a first machine learning model and wherein the plurality of results includes the classification; and processing the plurality of results using a second model to determine the overall result; based on the overall result, determining to issue the certificate; and issuing the certificate to the online identity. 9 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the computer executable instructions are further executable for using the certificate to engage in online interactions. 10 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the certificate request comprises an entity name and wherein the plurality of results includes a result of analyzing the entity name against known actors. 11 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the certificate request includes an entity photo, wherein the plurality of results comprises a result of analyzing the entity photo, and wherein analyzing the entity photo comprises comparing the entity photo to a data source using image recognition. 12 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the certificate request comprises a device address, wherein the plurality of results comprises a result of analyzing the device address against known device information. 13 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the certificate request comprises the content sample and wherein the second model comprises a second machine learning model. 14 . The non-transitory, computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein analyzing the certificate request to generate the plurality of results comprises comparing information in the certificate request to one or more data sources comprising information corresponding to the online identity. 15 . A computer-implemented method comprising: receiving a certificate request from an online identity for a certificate that validates a reputation of the online identity; in response to receiving the certificate request from the online identity: analyzing the certificate request to generate an overall result, wherein analyzing the certificate request to generate the overall result comprises: analyzing the certificate request to generate a plurality of results indicative of reputation, further comprising analyzing a content sample with a first model to assign a classification to the content sample, wherein the first model comprises a first machine learning model and wherein the plurality of results includes the classification; and processing the plurality of results using a second model to determine the overall result; based on the overall result, determining to issue the certificate; and issuing the certificate to the online identity. 16 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , further comprising using the certificate to engage in online interactions. 17 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein the certificate request comprises an entity name and wherein the plurality of results comprises a result of analyzing the entity name against known actors. 18 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein the certificate request includes an entity photo, wherein the plurality of results comprises a result of analyzing the entity photo, wherein analyzing the entity photo comprises comparing the entity photo to a data source using image recognition. 19 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein the certificate request comprises a device address and wherein the plurality of results comprises a result of analyzing the device address against known device information. 20 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein the certificate request comprises the content sample and wherein the second model comprises a second machine learning model. 21 . The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein analyzing the certificate request to generate the plurality of results comprises comparing information in the certificate request to one or more data sources comprising information corresponding to the online identity.
