An optical glass includes, in terms of mol % of cations, a total amount of La 3+ , Y 3+ , and Gd 3+ components falling within a range of from 5% to 65% and a total amount of Zr 4+ , Hf 4+ , and Ta 5+ components falling within a range of from 5% to 65%, and a relationship expressed in Expression (1) given below is satisfied. (La 3+ +Y 3+ +Gd 3+ )×(Zr 4+ +Hf 4+ +Ta 5+ )≥400(%) 2 .

What is claimed is: 1 . An optical glass, comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, a Ta 5+ component falling within a range of 0% to 20%, a total amount of La 3+ , Y 3+ , and Gd 3+ components falling within a range of 5% to 65%; and a total amount of Zr 4+ , Hf 4+ , and Ta 5+ components falling within a range of 24.8% to 65%, wherein a relationship expressed in Expression (1) given below is satisfied; (La 3+ +Y 3+ +Gd 3+ )×(Zr 4+ +Hf 4+ +Ta 5+ )≥400(%) 2   (1). 2 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , further comprising at least one component selected from a group consisting of Ga 3+ , Al 3+ , Si 4+ , B 3+ , Mg 2+ , Ca 2+ , Sr 2+ , Ba 2+ , Ti 4+ , Nb 5+ , and W 6+ . 3 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , further comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, a Ga 3+ component falling within a range of 0% to 60%; a Al 3+ component falling within a range of 0% to 20%; a Si 4+ component falling within a range of 0% to 30%; and a B 3+ component falling within a range of 0% to 10%. 4 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , further comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, a Ti 4+ component falling within a range of 0% to 20%; a Nb 5+ component falling within a range of 0% to 20%; a W 6+ component falling within a range of 0% to 0%; and an R 2+ (R refers to one or more selected from a group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba) component falling within a range of 0% to 10%. 5 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , further comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, a total amount of B 3+ and Si 4+ components is 0%. 6 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, a total amount of La 3+ , Y 3+ , and Gd 3+ is 30% to 60%. 7 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, a total amount of La 3+ , Y 3+ , and Gd 3+ is 40% to 55%. 8 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, a total amount of Zr 4+ , Hf 4+ , and Ta 5+ is 30% to 60%. 9 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , wherein the Expression (1) given below is satisfied: (La 3+ +Y 3+ +Gd 3+ )×(Zr 4+ +Hf 4+ +Ta 5+ )≥800(%) 2 . 10 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , wherein the Expression (1) given below is satisfied: (La 3+ +Y 3+ +Gd 3+ )×(Zr 4+ +Hf 4+ +Ta 5+ )≥1200(%) 2 . 11 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , wherein the Expression (1) given below is satisfied: 2400(%) 2 ≥(La 3+ +Y 3+ +Gd 3+ )×(Zr 4+ +Hf 4+ +Ta 5+ ). 12 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , wherein the Expression (1) given below is satisfied: 2000(%) 2 ≥(La 3+ +Y 3+ +Gd 3+ )×(Zr 4+ +Hf 4+ +Ta 5+ ). 13 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, La 3+ component falling within a range of 0% to 65%. 14 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, La 3+ component falling within a range of 20% to 60%. 15 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, La 3+ component falling within a range of 30% to 55%. 16 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, Gd 3+ component falling within a range of 0% to 20%. 17 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, Gd 3+ component falling within a range of 7.65% to 20%. 18 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, Zr 4+ component falling within a range of 0% to 15%. 19 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, Zr 4+ component falling within a range of 4.21% to 15%. 20 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, Hf 4+ component falling within a range of 0% to 10%. 21 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, Hf 4+ component falling within a range of 4% to 10%. 22 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , comprising: in terms of mol % of cations, Ta 5+ component falling within a range of 5% to 20%. 23 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , wherein a refractive index (n d ) with respect to a d-line falls within a range of 1.93 to 2.15. 26 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , wherein an abbe number (v d ) falls within a range of 25 to 40. 27 . The optical glass according to claim 1 , wherein n d −0.01023v d +2.2988 is 0.02 or greater. 28 . An optical element comprising the optical glass according to claim 1 . 29 . An optical system comprising the optical element according to claim 28 . 30 . An interchangeable lens comprising the optical system according to claim 29 . 31 . An objective lens for microscope comprising the optical element according to claim 29 . 32 . An optical device comprising the optical system according to claim 29 . 33 .
