Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

In some implementations, a device may receive an indication of a code associated with granting authenticated access to a door. The device may transmit, to a user device, presentation information to cause an augmented reality image of an input pad to be displayed by the user device, wherein the augmented reality image is displayed over an area of an image of an exterior of the door via a user interface. The device may detect, via a camera device, one or more user inputs to the area of the exterior of the vehicle based on tracking a movement of a user. The device may identify an input code based on the one or more user inputs. The device may perform an action to cause the door to be unlocked based on the input code matching the code.

What is claimed is: 1 . A system for providing authenticated access to an access point, the system comprising: one or more memories; and one or more processors, coupled to the one or more memories, configured to: transmit presentation information to cause one or more virtual elements to be displayed in an area of an image of the access point, wherein the presentation information causes the one or more virtual elements to be superimposed on the image of the access point; detect, by a user device, one or more user inputs corresponding to the one or more virtual elements configured to be displayed on the user device; and perform an action to cause the access point to be unlocked based on the one or more user inputs. 2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the access point corresponds to at least one of a vehicle or a building. 3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors, to perform the action, are configured to cause at least one of: the access point to lock or unlock without a physical key, or an ignition system to start an engine of a vehicle or turn off an engine of the vehicle. 4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to: identify an input code based on the one or more user inputs, wherein the input code indicates a series of inputs to an input pad as depicted via the one or more virtual elements. 5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to: receive an identifier associated with a user device; and store the identifier responsive to identifying the input code. 6 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to: initiate a session associated with a user based on causing the access point to be unlocked, wherein the session enables tracking of one or more actions corresponding to the access point. 7 . The system of claim 6 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to: detect one or more additional user inputs after initiating the session; identify an additional input code based on the one or more additional user inputs, wherein the additional input code is the input code or a different input code; and terminate the session based on identifying the additional input code. 8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors, to perform the action, are configured to: provide access to a system corresponding to the access point for a limited amount of time. 9 . A method for providing authenticated access to an access point, comprising: transmitting presentation information to cause one or more virtual elements to be displayed in an area of an image of a vehicle, wherein the presentation information causes the one or more virtual elements to be superimposed on the image; detecting, by a user device, one or more user inputs corresponding to the one or more virtual elements configured to be displayed on the user device; and obtaining access to an access point of the vehicle responsive to the one or more user inputs. 10 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising: receiving an indication of a code corresponding to granting authenticated access to the access point. 11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein obtaining access to the access point comprises: identifying an input code based on the one or more user inputs. 12 . The method of claim 9 , wherein obtaining access to the access point comprises: causing the access point of the vehicle to be unlocked. 13 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the image of the vehicle is captured by a light detection and ranging device corresponding to a user device. 14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the presentation information indicates a location on an exterior of the vehicle where the one or more virtual elements are to be superimposed. 15 . The method of claim 9 , further comprising: initiating a session that enables a system corresponding to the access point to track one or more actions corresponding to the access point. 16 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a set of instructions, the set of instructions comprising: one or more instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a user device, cause the user device to: receive presentation information to cause a set of virtual elements to be superimposed on an image of a portion of a vehicle; provide the image of the portion of the vehicle with the set of virtual elements superimposed for display, enabling the user device to detect one or more user inputs corresponding to an interaction with the set of virtual elements; and transmit information corresponding to the one or more user inputs to another device to cause access to be granted to one or more vehicle systems corresponding to the vehicle. 17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the one or more user inputs cause access to be granted to the user to one or more vehicle systems associated with the vehicle. 18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the one or more instructions further cause the user device to: identify a reference point on an exterior of the vehicle, wherein the reference point is indicated by the presentation information; and insert the one or more virtual elements in the image relative to the reference point. 19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the one or more instructions further cause the user device to: initiate a session associated with a user of the user device based on causing a door to be unlocked, wherein the session enables the device to track one or more actions performed by the user. 20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the other device includes a communication device corresponding to the vehicle or a cloud computing device.
