Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, defining at least one requirement for a capture of source content in the physical world, generating a request for the source content in accordance with the at least one requirement, obtaining first source content from a first content generator based on the request, and generating a digital representation of the physical world based on the first source content. Other embodiments are disclosed.

What is claimed is: 1 . A device, comprising: a processing system including a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising: defining a plurality of requirements for a capture of source content in the physical world, wherein the plurality of requirements comprises: a timing requirement for the capture of the source content and includes a specification of an expiration time indicating a latest time that the source content will be accepted by the device, a requirement pertaining to a zoom level, and a requirement pertaining to a direction; generating a request for the source content in accordance with the plurality of requirements; obtaining first source content from a first content generator based on the generating; determining, based on an analysis of the first source content, that the first source content fails to satisfy the requirement pertaining to the zoom level, the requirement pertaining to the direction, or a combination thereof; based on the determining, issuing a command to the first content generator that instructs the first content generator to recapture the first source content in accordance with an adjustment to the zoom level used by the first content generator, an adjustment to the direction used by the first content generator, or a combination thereof; obtaining, based on the issuing of the command, recaptured first source content; generating a digital representation of the physical world based on the recaptured first source content; and providing the digital representation as part of a package of content to a user equipment, the package of content including: an advertisement, gaming content, augmented reality content, virtual reality content, speech, videoconferencing content, voice context, text content, and social media activities. 2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise: incorporating the digital representation as part of first simulated content. 3 . The device of claim 2 , wherein the operations further comprise: storing the digital representation, resulting in a stored digital representation. 4 . The device of claim 3 , wherein the operations further comprise: incorporating the stored digital representation as part of second simulated content that is different from the first simulated content. 5 . The device of claim 2 , wherein the operations further comprise: analyzing the first simulated content, wherein the defining is based on the analyzing. 6 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise: transmitting the digital representation to a second user equipment. 7 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of requirements comprises an identification of a location for the capture of source content, and wherein the first content generator has a specified location range that includes the location. 8 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of requirements comprises an identification of an orientation for the capture of source content. 9 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of requirements comprises an indication of a threshold pertaining to a quality for the capture of the source content. 10 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the source content comprises video. 11 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the source content comprises audio. 12 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the source content comprises an image. 13 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise: selecting the first content generator from a plurality of content generators to fulfill the request. 14 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise: obtaining second source content from a second content generator based on the request, wherein the generating of the digital representation is further based on the second source content. 15 . A non-transitory machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processing system including a processor, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising: obtaining a first indication of an application executed by a user equipment; analyzing, based on the first indication, first content that is to be provided to the user equipment; identifying, based on the analyzing, a source content generator for capturing second content corresponding to a portion of the physical world in accordance with a plurality of requirements, wherein the plurality of requirements comprises: a timing requirement for the capturing of the second content and includes a specification of an expiration time indicating a latest time that the second content will be accepted by the processing system, a requirement pertaining to a zoom level, and a requirement pertaining to a direction; obtaining, based on the identifying, the second content from the source content generator, resulting in obtained second content; determining, based on an analysis of the obtained second content, that the obtained second content fails to satisfy the requirement pertaining to the zoom level, the requirement pertaining to the direction, or a combination thereof; based on the determining, issuing a command to the source content generator that instructs the source content generator to recapture the second content in accordance with an adjustment to the zoom level used by the source content generator, an adjustment to the direction used by the source content generator, or a combination thereof; obtaining, based on the issuing of the command, recaptured second content; incorporating the recaptured second content as part of the first content, resulting in modified first content, wherein the modified first content includes: an advertisement, gaming content, augmented reality content, virtual reality content, music, speech, videoconferencing content, voice context, text content, email content, and social media activities; and transmitting the modified first content to the user equipment. 16 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise: generating a digital representation of the recaptured second content, wherein the incorporating of the recaptured second content as part of the first content comprises incorporating the digital representation as part of the first content to generate the modified first content. 17 . A method, comprising: defining, by a processing system including a processor, a plurality of requirements for a capture of source content, wherein the plurality of requirements comprises: a timing requirement for the capture of the source content and includes a specification of an expiration time indicating a latest time that the source content will be accepted by the processing system, a requirement pertaining to a zoom level, and a requirement pertaining to a direction; generating, by the processing system, a request for the source content in accordance with the plurality of requirements; obtaining, by the processing system, first source content from a first content generator based on the generating; determining, based on an analysis of the first source content, that the first source content fails to satisfy the requirement pertaining to the zoom level, the requirement pertaining to the direction, or a combination thereof; based on the determining, issuing a command to the first content generator that instructs the first content generator to recapture the first source content in accordance with an adjustment
