In accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure, a tissue extraction device may include a bag having an interior and a plurality of cutting elements extending through the interior of the bag.

What is claimed is: 1. A tissue extraction device, comprising: a bag defining an interior surface; and at least one elongate cutting element having a first end and a second end, the at least one elongate cutting element being removably coupled to the interior surface of the bag, wherein the at least one elongate cutting element is formed from a chain of pivotally linked cutting bodies arranged serially in a linear row to collectively define a sharpened edge for cutting tissue as the at least one elongate cutting element is pulled across tissue. 2. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one elongate cutting element further comprises a first strand extending from the first end of the at least one cutting element, and a second strand extending from the second end of the at least one elongate cutting element. 3. The tissue extraction device of claim 2 , wherein the at least one elongate cutting element further comprises a first eyelet coupled to a free end of the first strand, and a second eyelet coupled to a free end of the second strand. 4. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , wherein the cutting bodies are pivotally attached to and interspersed with links. 5. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one sharpened edge is curved. 6. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one sharpened edge is convex. 7. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one sharpened edge is linear. 8. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one sharpened edge of each cutting body is discrete and is separated from all other edges by a gap. 9. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one elongate cutting element is configured to maintain the at least one sharpened edge of each cutting body in rotational registration with each other about a longitudinal axis of the at least one elongate cutting element. 10. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , further comprising a channel formed on the interior surface of the bag, wherein the at least one elongate cutting element passes through the channel. 11. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , further comprising a wound retractor surrounding at least a portion of the at least one elongate cutting element. 12. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , wherein the bag includes an inner layer and an outer layer. 13. The tissue extraction device of claim 12 , wherein a rim of the inner layer is removably coupled to a rim of the outer layer. 14. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , wherein the device includes a plurality of elongate cutting elements that are overlapped with each other to facilitate using the cutting elements individually in a predetermined order. 15. The tissue extraction device of claim 1 , wherein: a first cutting body of the chain of pivotally linked cutting bodies has a respective proximal end and a respective distal end; and a second cutting body of the chain of pivotally linked cutting bodies has a respective proximal end and a respective distal end; wherein the distal end of the first cutting body is pivotally coupled to the proximal end of the second cutting body about a first linear pivot axis. 16. The tissue extraction device of claim 15 , wherein: a third cutting body of the chain of pivotally linked cutting bodies has a respective proximal end and a respective distal end; and the distal end of the second cutting body is pivotally coupled to the proximal end of the third cutting body about a second linear pivot axis. 17. The tissue extraction device of claim 16 , wherein: a fourth cutting body of the chain of pivotally linked cutting bodies has a respective proximal end and a respective distal end; and the distal end of the third cutting body is pivotally coupled to the proximal end of the fourth cutting body about a third linear pivot axis. 18. The tissue extraction device of claim 17 , wherein: a fifth cutting body of the chain of pivotally linked cutting bodies has a respective proximal end and a respective distal end; and the distal end of the fourth cutting body is pivotally coupled to the proximal end of the fifth cutting body about a fourth linear pivot axis. 19. The tissue extraction device of claim 17 , wherein at least two of the first linear pivot axis, the second linear pivot axis, the third linear pivot axis, and the fourth linear pivot axis are parallel. 20. The tissue extraction device of claim 17 , wherein all four of the first linear pivot axis, the second linear pivot axis, the third linear pivot axis, and the fourth linear pivot axis are parallel.
