A smoking substitute apparatus comprising a flavorant delivery article having a granulated composition comprising a flavorant, a binder and a carrier.

What is claimed is: 1. A smoking substitute apparatus comprising: a non-woven fabric pouch; and a flavorant delivery article having a granulated composition compriisng a flavorant, a binder and a carrier, the granulated composition being in the non-woven fabric pouch, wherein the flavorant delivery article is positioned in an airflow channel upstream from a mouth end such that, when in use, flavorant is transferred to a flow through the airflow channel. 2. A smoking substitute apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the granulated composition comprises granules and each of the granules has a substantially uniform composition throughout. 3. A smoking substitute apparatus according to claim 1 having a reservoir that contains a flavorless e-liquid. 4. A smoking substitute apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the mean average particle size of the granulated composition or granule size of the granules is up to 5 mm. 5. A smoking substitute apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the granulated composition or each of the granules comprises a disintegrant. 6. A smoking substitute apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the granulated composition or granules comprise up to 20 wt % of the flavorant. 7. A smoking substitute apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the smoking substitute apparatus is an aerosol delivery apparatus. 8. A method of manufacturing a flavorant delivery article for a smoking substitute apparatus, comprising a step of granulating a carrier, a flavorant and a binder to form granules, wherein each of the granules has a substantially uniform composition throughout, and further comprising sealing the granules in a non-woven fabric pouch. 9. Use of a flavorant delivery article in smoking substitute apparatus, wherein the flavorant delivery article is as defined in claim 1 . 10. A smoking substitute aqpparatus according to claim 1 wherein the flavorant is selected from the group consisting of menthol, liquorice, chocolate, fruit flavour, vanilla, spice, tobacco flavour, supercool menthol, green apple and blueberry mint. 11. A smoking substitute aqpparatus according to claim 1 wherein the binder is selected from the gorup consisting of a wax, a starch, a polymer, a latex, and a plastic. 12. A smoking substitute aqpparatus according to claim 1 wherein the carrier is selected from the group consisting of one or more of hydroxyporpyl methylcellulose (HPMC), rich starch, wheat starch, potato starch, microcrystalline cellulose (MCC), bamboo fibres, wheat fibres and oat fibres. 13. A smoking substitute aqpparatus according to claim 1 wherein the granulated composition comprises granules, and wherein the flavorant is only contained within the granulated composition or granules of the smoking substitute apparatus. 14. A smoking substitute aqpparatus according to claim 1 wherein the smoking substitute apparatus can be opened or disassembled to insert or remove the flavorant delivery article; or wherein the smoking substitute apparatus comprises an opening adapted to receive the flavorant delivery article.
