A high and low-pressure integrated air pump includes a single housing including an air inlet and an air outlet. A high-pressure pump is disposed within the housing and in fluid communication with the air inlet, and uses a first outlet passage to discharge to the air outlet. A low-pressure pump is also disposed within the housing and in fluid communication with the air inlet, and uses a second outlet passage to discharge to the air outlet.

What is claimed is: 1. A high and low-pressure integrated air pump, comprising: a housing including an air inlet and an air outlet; a high-pressure pump disposed within the housing in fluid communication with the air inlet and the air outlet; a first high-pressure check valve separating the high-pressure pump from the air inlet; a low-pressure pump disposed within the housing and in fluid communication with the air inlet and the air outlet; a first low-pressure check valve separating the low-pressure pump from the air outlet; a flow path defined between the first low-pressure check valve and the air outlet which bypasses the high-pressure pump; and a second high-pressure check valve separating the high-pressure pump from the low-pressure pump. 2. The high and low-pressure integrated air pump of claim 1 , wherein the housing includes an exhaust. 3. The high and low-pressure integrated air pump of claim 1 , wherein the housing includes a retainer for supporting and mounting of at least a portion of the low-pressure pump, and at least one support for supporting and mounting of at least a portion of the high-pressure pump. 4. The high and low-pressure integrated air pump of claim 1 , wherein: the low-pressure pump is disposed between the high-pressure pump and the air inlet, and the first high-pressure check valve is disposed between the high-pressure pump and the low-pressure pump. 5. The high and low-pressure integrated air pump of claim 1 , wherein the high-pressure pump is a positive displacement pump. 6. The high and low-pressure integrated air pump of claim 5 , wherein the positive displacement pump includes a motor and a connecting rod. 7. The high and low-pressure integrated air pump of claim 6 , wherein the connecting rod is configured to reciprocate when the motor is operating. 8. The high and low-pressure integrated air pump of claim 7 , wherein the motor is configured to generate motion about an axis, and wherein the connecting rod is coupled at a location offset from the axis. 9. The high and low-pressure integrated air pump of claim 5 , wherein the positive displacement pump includes a mechanical member configured to reciprocate to provide mechanical energy to pressurize air provided through the first high-pressure check valve. 10. The high and low-pressure integrated air pump of claim 9 , which further includes a working fluid chamber located between the first high-pressure check valve and the second high-pressure check valve, wherein the mechanical member defines the working fluid chamber. 11. The high and low-pressure integrated air pump of claim 1 , which further includes a controller configured to receive an electrical signal indicative of a pressure condition. 12. The high and low-pressure integrated air pump of claim 1 , which further includes a pressure sensor structured to react to the pressure condition, the pressure sensor configured to provide the electrical signal indicative of the pressure condition.
