A surgical driver apparatus includes a housing and an inner driver shaft having a proximal end secured within the housing and a distal end extending out from a first side of the housing. The inner driver shaft is configured to rotate with respect to the housing. The surgical driver apparatus further includes an outer driver shaft and an idler driver shaft. The outer driver shaft is positioned coaxial with the inner driver shaft and configured to rotate independently from the inner driver shaft. The idler driver shaft is configured to transmit torque to the outer driver shaft. Additionally, the surgical driver apparatus includes a driver key comprising a driving feature and a counter-driving feature. The driver key is configured to engage a second side of the housing in one of a plurality of orientations configured to rotate the inner driver shaft and/or the outer driver shaft.

What is claimed is: 1. A surgical implant system comprising: an expandable interbody fusion implant comprising an anterior end, a posterior end, a frame, an upper endplate and a lower endplate moveably coupled to the frame, an actuation screw, and an anterior actuator and a posterior actuator coupled to the frame and positioned coaxially between the upper endplate and the lower endplate, wherein the actuation screw extends through the anterior and posterior actuators from the anterior end of the implant, wherein rotation of the actuation screw and the anterior and posterior actuators causes the implant to expand to a parallel expansion configuration, an anterior expansion configuration, or a posterior expansion configuration; and an implant expansion driver for engagement with and insertion of the expandable interbody fusion implant including: a housing; a first driver shaft having a proximal end rotatably disposed within the housing and a distal end extending out from a first side of the housing, the first driver shaft configured to engage the actuation screw of the implant; a second driver shaft coaxially positioned around the first driver shaft and extending out from the first side of the housing, the second driver shaft configured to engage at least one of the anterior and posterior actuators of the implant, wherein the first and second driver shafts are configured to rotate independently to selectively expand the implant; an idler driver shaft secured within the housing; a gear coupling the idler driver shaft to the second driver shaft; and a driver key configured to removably attach to the housing in a first orientation and a second orientation relative to the housing to selectively engage and rotate the first and second driver shafts so as to expand both the anterior and posterior ends of the implant together into the parallel expansion configuration or expand one of the anterior and posterior ends of the implant relative to the other end into the anterior or posterior expansion configuration. 2. The surgical implant system of claim 1 , wherein the driver key includes a handle and rotation of the handle: in a first circumferential direction expands the implant regardless of the orientation of the driver key relative to the housing; and in a second circumferential direction opposite the first circumferential direction contracts the implant regardless of the orientation of the driver key. 3. The surgical implant system of claim 1 , wherein the second driver shaft is an outer shaft coaxially positioned around the first driver shaft. 4. The surgical implant system of claim 1 , wherein the gear is housed in the housing and configured to selectively lock the first driver shaft or the second driver shaft based on the orientation of the driver key. 5. The surgical implant system of claim 1 , wherein the driver key is configured to removably attach to the housing in a third orientation relative to the housing to rotate the first and second driver shafts together. 6. The surgical implant system of claim 5 , wherein when the driver key in the third orientation rotates the first and second shafts together, the actuation screw and the posterior actuator rotate together to expand the posterior end of the implant. 7. The surgical implant system of claim 3 , wherein the driver key includes a handle and rotation of the handle: in a first circumferential direction expands the implant regardless of the orientation of the driver key relative to the housing; and in a second circumferential direction opposite the first circumferential direction contracts the implant regardless of the orientation of the driver key. 8. The surgical implant system of claim 3 , wherein the gear is housed in the housing and configured to selectively lock the first driver shaft or the second driver shaft based on the orientation of the driver key. 9. The surgical implant system of claim 3 , wherein the driver key is configured to removably attach to the housing in a third orientation relative to the housing to rotate the first and second driver shafts together. 10. The surgical implant system of claim 9 , wherein when the driver key in the third orientation rotates the first and second driver shafts together, the actuation screw and the posterior actuator rotate together to expand the posterior end of the implant. 11. The surgical implant system of claim 1 , wherein the driver key is configured to selectively lock or unlock the second driver shaft based on the orientation of the driver key. 12. A surgical implant system, comprising: an intervertebral implant comprising an anterior end, a posterior end, a frame, an upper endplate and a lower endplate moveably coupled to the frame, an anterior actuator and a posterior actuator coupled to the frame and positioned coaxially between the upper endplate and the lower endplate, and an actuation screw extending through the anterior and posterior actuators from the anterior end of the implant, wherein rotation of the actuation screw and the anterior and posterior actuators causes the implant to expand to a parallel expansion configuration, an anterior expansion configuration, or a posterior expansion configuration; and an implant expansion driver for engagement with and insertion of the intervertebral implant including: a housing; an inner driver shaft having a proximal end rotatably disposed within the housing and a distal end extending out from a first side of the housing, the inner driver shaft configured to engage the actuation screw of the implant; an outer driver shaft positioned around the inner driver shaft and extending out from the first side of the housing, the outer driver shaft configured to engage at least one of the anterior and posterior actuators of the implant, wherein the inner and outer driver shafts are configured to rotate independently to selectively expand the implant; an idler driver shaft secured within the housing; a gear coupling the idler driver shaft to the outer driver shaft; and a driver key configured to removably attach to the housing in first and second orientations relative to the housing to selectively engage and rotate the inner and outer driver shafts so as to expand both the anterior end and the posterior end of the implant together into the parallel expansion configuration or expand one of the anterior end and the posterior end of the implant relative to the other end into the anterior or posterior expansion configuration. 13. The surgical implant system of claim 12 , wherein the driver key includes a handle and rotation of the handle: in a first circumferential direction expands the implant regardless of the orientation of the driver key relative to the housing; and in a second circumferential direction opposite the first circumferential direction contracts the implant regardless of the orientation of the driver key. 14. The surgical implant system of claim 12 , wherein the outer driver shaft is coaxially positioned around the inner driver shaft. 15. The surgical implant system of claim 12 , wherein the gear is housed in the housing and configured to selectively lock the inner driver shaft or the outer driver shaft based on the orientation of the driver key. 16. The surgical implant system of claim 12 , wherein the driver key is configured to removably attach to the housing in a third orientation relative to the housing to rotate the inner and outer driver shafts together. 17.
