Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

At least one example of the present disclosure includes a system having a gaming table, a sensor embedded into the gaming table, and a user interface device. The sensor is configured to sense an action that occurs at a player station of the gaming table. The user interface device is associated with the player station (e.g., at the player station, in communicative connection with a device at the player station, etc.). The user interface device is configured to one or more of present, via a video display in response to the sensed action, a bonus feature, or access, via a casino network in response to the sensed action, a player electronic fund account. Access to the player electronic fund account can include use of electronic funds from the player electronic fund account for one or more games available at the gaming table.

What is claimed is: 1. A system comprising: a gaming table; a sensor embedded into the gaming table, wherein the sensor is configured to sense a user input that occurs at a player station of the gaming table; and a user interface device associated with the player station, wherein one or more processors of the user interface device are configured to execute instructions that, when executed, cause the user interface device to perform operations to at least one of: access, via a casino network in response to the user input, a player electronic fund account, wherein the access is performed in response to the sensed user input comprising a scanning of a code, and wherein said access comprises logging into the player electronic fund account, or present, via a video display of the user interface device in response to the user input, a bonus feature. 2. The system of claim 1 , wherein access to the player electronic fund account provides use of electronic funds from the player electronic fund account for one or more games available at the gaming table. 3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the sensor is configured to sense as the user input that triggers presentation of the bonus feature one or more of placement of a bet, scanning of a code, or an interaction with a touch screen of the user interface device. 4. The system of claim 1 , wherein the user interface device comprises one or more of a player interface device located at the player station or a dealer terminal wired, via the gaming table, to the sensor. 5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the user interface device is one or more of embedded into the gaming table, plugged into the gaming table via one or more connectors at the player station, or communicatively connected via a wireless connection to a processor associated with the gaming table. 6. The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors, being configured to execute the instructions to cause the system to perform the operations to access the player electronic fund account by logging into the player electronic fund account in response to the sensed user input comprising the scanning of the code, are further configured to execute instructions that, when executed, cause the system to perform operations to access an electronic wallet (eWallet) account managed, at least in part, by a gaming server communicatively coupled with the user interface device via the casino network, wherein the player electronic fund account is the eWallet account. 7. The system of claim 6 , wherein the one or more processors, being configured to execute the instructions to cause the system to perform the operations to access the eWallet account are further configured to execute instructions that, when executed, cause the system to perform operations to: debit or credit, in response to logging into the eWallet account, an amount associated with the code using the eWallet account. 8. The system of claim 1 , wherein presentation of the bonus feature comprises presentation of one or more of a mystery secondary game event not associated with a base game of the gaming table, a bonus event triggered by a random-number-generator outcome of a base game, a progressive jackpot award, an event triggered by a predetermined trigger, a pool reaching a certain level, a virtual lottery, registration of an entry into one or more offered progressive bonus game jackpot propositions, a bonus game, a wheel game, or a picking game. 9. The system of claim 1 , wherein access to the player electronic fund account is associated with presentation of the bonus feature. 10. The system of claim 1 , wherein the scanning of the code comprises the sensor optically reading the code from a display of a mobile device associated with a user. 11. A method comprising: sensing, via a sensor embedded into a gaming table, a user input that occurs at a player station of the gaming table; and performing, via one or more processors of a user interface device associated with the player station, one or more of: accessing, via a casino network in response to the user input, a player electronic fund account, wherein the accessing is performed in response to the sensed user input comprising a scanning of a code, and wherein the accessing comprises logging into the player electronic fund account, or presenting, via a video display of the user interface device in response to the user input, a bonus feature. 12. The method of claim 11 , wherein accessing the player electronic fund account comprises using electronic funds from the player electronic fund account for one or more games available at the gaming table. 13. The method of claim 11 , wherein the sensing of the user input that triggers presenting the bonus feature comprises sensing one or more of placement of a bet, scanning a code, or an interaction with a touch screen of the user interface device. 14. The method of claim 11 , wherein the user interface device comprises one or more of a player interface device located at the player station or a dealer terminal wired, via the gaming table, to the sensor. 15. The method of claim 11 , wherein the user interface device is one or more of embedded into the gaming table, plugged into the gaming table via one or more connectors at the player station, or communicatively connected via a wireless connection to a processor associated with the gaming table. 16. The method of claim 11 , wherein accessing the player electronic fund account by logging into the player electronic fund account in response to the sensed user input comprising the scanning of the code, comprises accessing an electronic wallet (eWallet) account managed, at least in part, by a gaming server communicatively coupled with the user interface device via the casino network, wherein the player electronic fund account is the eWallet account. 17. The method of claim 16 , wherein accessing the eWallet account comprises: debiting or crediting, in response to the logging into the eWallet account, an amount associated with the code using the eWallet account. 18. The method of claim 11 , wherein presenting the bonus feature comprises presenting one or more of a mystery secondary game event not associated with a base game of the gaming table, a bonus event triggered by a random-number-generator outcome of a base game, a progressive jackpot award, an event triggered by a predetermined trigger, a pool reaching a certain level, a virtual lottery, registration of an entry into one or more offered progressive bonus game jackpot propositions, a bonus game, a wheel game, or a picking game. 19. The method of claim 11 , wherein accessing the player electronic fund account is associated with the presenting of the bonus feature. 20. One or more non-transitory, computer-readable mediums having instructions stored thereon, which instructions, when executed by one or more processors of a gaming system, cause the gaming system to perform operations comprising: sensing, via a sensor embedded into a gaming table, a user input that occurs at a player station of the gaming table; and performing, via a user interface device associated with the player station, at least one of: accessing, via a casino network in response to the user input, a player electronic fund account, wherein the accessing is in response to the sensed user input comprising a scanning of a code, and wherein said accessing comprises logging into the player electronic fund account, or presenting, via a video display of the user interface device in response to the user input, a bonu
