A transmission device includes a transmission unit housed inside a transmission case with an oil storing part at a bottom part of the transmission case. As viewed in a projection plane orthogonal to a rotation axis of the transmission unit, an oil capturing part is arranged in a semicircle part of an outer circumferential wall of the transmission case. The semicircle part starts at a deepest part of the oil storing part and is positioned on a front side in a normal direction of a carrier.

The invention claimed is: 1. A transmission device comprising a transmission unit, the transmission unit comprising a gear reducer and a differential device whose differential case receives an output of the gear reducer, the transmission unit being housed inside a transmission case with an oil storing part at a bottom part of the transmission case, the gear reducer comprising: a sun gear coupled to a power source; a ring gear arranged concentrically to the sun gear and fixed to the transmission case; two or more planetary gears meshing with the sun gear and the ring gear; and a carrier rotatably supporting the two or more planetary gears for rotating integrally with the differential case, an outer circumferential wall of the transmission case being provided with an oil guide including an oil capturing part and an oil guiding part, the oil capturing part being capable of capturing an oil in the oil storing part lifted by the two or more planetary gears in response to the two or more planetary gears revolving in a normal direction of the carrier while rotating in an opposite direction to the normal direction as the carrier rotates in the normal direction, and the oil guiding part for guiding the oil captured by the oil capturing part to a lubrication target part inside the transmission case, and as viewed in a projection plane orthogonal to a rotation axis of the transmission unit, the oil capturing part being arranged in a semicircle part of the outer circumferential wall, the semicircle part starting at a deepest part of the oil storing part and being positioned on a front side in the normal direction, wherein the transmission unit, whose respective differential device and gear reducer are arranged on a first side and a second side in an axial direction, is rotatably supported by the transmission case via a first unit support bearing closer to the differential device and a second unit support bearing closer to the gear reducer, the second side being opposite to the first side in the axial direction, and wherein the oil guiding part includes: a first oil guiding part for guiding some of the oil captured by the oil capturing part to the first unit support bearing, which is the lubrication target part; and a second oil guiding part for guiding some of the oil captured by the oil capturing part to the second unit support bearing, which is the lubrication target part. 2. The transmission device according to claim 1 , wherein an inner surface of the outer circumferential wall of the transmission case is provided with a guiding recess part arranged in a vicinity of a front side of the oil capturing part in the normal direction and depressed outward in a radial direction of the transmission case. 3. The transmission device according to claim 1 , wherein the oil capturing part is a gutter member with an open top face.
