A method includes providing a plurality of passenger capsules where each of the plurality of passenger capsules has a frame rail-less monocoque hull structure and the plurality of passenger capsules include (a) a first passenger capsule defining four door openings and (b) a second passenger capsule defining two door openings; providing a plurality of front modules; providing a plurality of rear modules; coupling (a) a first front module to a front end of the first passenger capsule and (b) a first rear module to a rear end of the first passenger capsule to provide a first military vehicle variant; and coupling (a) a second front module to a front end of the second passenger capsule and (b) a second rear module to a rear end of the second passenger capsule to provide a second military vehicle variant.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method for producing military vehicles, the method comprising: providing a plurality of passenger capsules, each of the plurality of passenger capsules having a frame rail-less monocoque hull structure, the plurality of passenger capsules including (a) a first passenger capsule defining four door openings and (b) a second passenger capsule defining two door openings; providing a plurality of front modules, each of the plurality of front modules including a front subframe, a front axle, a front suspension, a front differential, and a prime mover; providing a plurality of rear modules, each of the plurality of rear modules including a rear subframe, a rear axle, a rear suspension, and a transaxle including an internal mechanical disconnect; coupling (a) a first front module of the plurality of front modules to a front end of the first passenger capsule and (b) a first rear module of the plurality of rear modules to a rear end of the first passenger capsule to provide a first military vehicle variant; and coupling (a) a second front module of the plurality of front modules to a front end of the second passenger capsule and (b) a second rear module of the plurality of rear modules to a rear end of the second passenger capsule to provide a second military vehicle variant; wherein the transaxle of one of the plurality of rear modules couples to the front differential of one of the plurality of front modules; and wherein the internal mechanical disconnect of the transaxle of the one of the plurality of rear modules facilitates decoupling the transaxle of the one of the plurality of rear modules from the front differential of the one of the plurality of front modules. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first front module and the second front module are the same. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first passenger capsule includes an interlocking door feature positioned along and protruding outward from an exterior of the first passenger capsule between a front door aperture and a rear door aperture thereof, and wherein the second passenger capsule does not include the interlocking door feature. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of rear modules include an actuator configured to facilitate engaging the internal mechanical disconnect. 5. The method of claim 4 , wherein the actuator is accessible from an exterior of the military vehicles. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the rear suspension includes a first gas spring, a second gas spring, a first hydraulic damper, and a second hydraulic damper. 7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the first hydraulic damper and the second hydraulic damper are cross-plumbed to provide a hydraulic body roll control function. 8. The method of claim 6 , wherein at least one of (i) the first gas spring and the second gas spring or (ii) the first hydraulic damper and the second hydraulic damper are directly coupled to a housing of the transaxle. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the front differential defines a mount to which the prime mover is coupled. 10. The method of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of front modules includes a hood and a front lift structure coupled to the front subframe, the front lift structure including a first protrusion and a second protrusion extending from the front subframe through the hood to provide a pair of front lift points. 11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the frame rail-less monocoque hull structure has a rear lift structure including a first protrusion and a second protrusion extending from opposing lateral sides of a rear end of the frame rail-less monocoque hull structure, the first protrusion and the second protrusion providing a pair of rear lift points. 12. The method of claim 1 , wherein the frame rail-less monocoque hull structure has an arcuate tunnel extending longitudinally along a bottom thereof.
